Congrats to Whitworth for barely beating a team that had a tough time with Menlo......at Stout by the way. Definitely a "trademark" win for the Rats.

Just got back from the Whitworth game.  Pirate defense was stingy again...only 29 total yards allowed in the second half.  A ton of tackles for loss also.  Greg Caster LB had 18 total tackles at least 6 of which were tackles for loss.  Important game for our young QB.  Definitely a confidence booster.  1st half defense was bend but don't break, which didn't exactly give the offense much field position.  Kudos to Stout's punter for pinning us....we had at least 4 drives starting within our own 10.  Man! Ballsy call going out of shotgun and throwing it at the one for the last play of the game 

Looks to be an interesting race in the NWC.
