I can breathe freely now.  They were trying to turn my hair grey this second half!!!  But a win is a win is a win!!!  Hope you all have a blast at Homecoming this coming weekend!!  We go to Emory and Henry which has coaches from . . .Mount Union  (Dan Montgomery and boys).  Should be very stressful!!!

D played well (except for a play or two) tonight.  Offense was not clicking.

Turnovers and penalties--too many.  But the guys stepped it up when the had to and came away with another win.  SOU games always seem to be crazy (well not always but often).  Goodnight all! :)

... 24-3 at the break?  Are you kidding me?
30-22 at the final gun. Not kidding you.

Good game 'Cats.
See you all at homecoming next week.

That wasn't pretty, but we'll take it. We were lucky the Raiders helped us out with the TOs in the first half, especially the two inside the five.

Thanks for the support, Olinemom!

Interesting stats from D&D, but we got the one that counted.

How many of you guys will be here for Homecoming?
I know DOC and GHC will be here, but how about the rest of you?

Can any of you believe that UPS beat Willamette today ???

Holy Crap Batman  thats crazy   UPS is horrible

That's why they play the game. Anything can happen on a Saturday, even a Bearcat upset.

That's great R&P. You'll be at the tailgates on Saturday, won't you?

DesertCat, isn't it about time for you to make an appearance? Could the twins spare you for a while?

PLU-Linfield week!  The week we always looked forward to on the schedule.  This year looks to be a good one.  One of these years I'll have to make it down there for a game.  Wildcat64 are you going down for the game?  This year though I'll be at the Alaska High School state final rooting on my alma mater.  That means I won't even get to follow it on the internet. :(

Looking over some of the days game stats.

UPS won with only 32 yards on the ground.  They had 0 turnovers to 2 for Willamette.

I'd like to commend Whitworth for the manner in which they played L & C today.  Looking over the drive log it appears the first team "O" came out after the 1st drive of the second quarter with the score 27-7 and the game obviously in hand.

No cumulative stats for PLU-MENLO yet but I did see that PLU starts 18 seniors and Menlo starts 18 freshman and sophmores.

No I won't be able to make it up for Homecoming (or any other games this year).  I'm kind of hoping that if the Cats can make the playoffs that they will have to travel down here (to play Oxy?) so I can go to a game......but we've got a long way to go still before that can happen.

Looking forward to hearing from guys who went to the game last night.  It sounds like the D is playing better (with the exception of a 91 yd TD on a missed tackle).  It even sounds like the D-line was getting pressure on the QB in the first half.  What concerns me is the Offense which really seemed to be off.....and I was expecting us to push SOU's D around but have trouble containing their O.  What's the story for those of you who saw it happen?

Go Cats!
