cawcdad,

You can't question the top speed of Anderson the best back in the NWC, I've seen many runs of his where he has broke away from the defense.  He splits time with a senior running back who was/is an all league player in Ahsing and... Anderson still leads the league in rushing. Kemp obviously has to manage the game well next week for Whitworth to win.  It will be interesting to see which team shows up on both sides for either school.  As always, turnovers will be key.  Should be a great atmosphere and a classic showdown.

I'm most pissed because I cannot be at the game.  Told the wife, you better be on the horn like no tomorrow.

Toivo, I didn't question anything. I was simply commenting on the teams and games I've seen this year. Haven't seen the Rats and so didn't comment on them.

Let's put it this way....in my opinion we saw better backs against Hardin-Simmons and Western Oregon than what I saw today.

Blue,

I would certainly hope so.....WOU had Taroli.... a great back when we played them and we've never had the pleasure of tangling with the mean mugs known as SOU

Live from Chicago, IL...my 2 cents after todays game.  I said it after the PLU game and I'll say it now, that Whitworth RB better be as fast as you say Toivo because I haven't seen a faster Linfield D in a long time...and he better be able to run between the tackles because the slow developing outside stuff will not work against these guys...we'll see I guess...

Crawcdad:

PPJ was there with two of my sisters and there kids. Simons Coach from Gridley was there also.

Enjoyed the game and the weather. Great to see the CATS kick butt. Hope Travis and Pete are ok. They looked a little beat up after the game.

PPJ, saw the Gridley sweatshirt and thought it was you. I asked if the guy posted on d3football. He looked at me like, "what are you talking about?" and politely said no.

If he was wearing a yellow shirt with coach on the back it was Coach Cox. Man of very few words.

It was nice of him to travel to menlo and watch his former RB. He is a good man.
