So I feel like I should offer some insight into who wins the NWC this weekend.

Whitworth....
Although 509 has done a good job working as the PR representative for his team, I am relatively unimpressed with the Pirates.  This week, I have to lean towards Linfield being able to exploit a pretty one dimmensional Whitworth team.

Linfield.....
Puts it together and gets to play another weekend.

Willamette is hard to figure..... Not sure the Lutes can beat them down in Salem.  Here is hoping we finish strong considering all the injuries.

Wyd,
If your guys can simply play assignment football then PLU gets the nod.  The Lute speed guys have huge potential in any game.

Something is a little strange when Case Western Reserve at 8-0 is supposedly one of the top Pool B teams. They hung 35 on Chicago last week. Well,  Lewis and Clark scored 27 on Chicago a few weeks back. What does that tell you?    ::)

Living here in the heart of UAA country, I attend games from time to time. In my humble OP, the top teams in that league are weak compared to mid-level teams in the NWC. I would have to imagine a skilled team like wu would win the uaa, and a better team like whit. would roll through it.

It isn't a great league in general, but Carnegie Mellon did win the league and a playoff game last year. And it only takes four games to run through the league. It's more like a jog. :)

...Lewis and Clark may be able to stop them in their tracks! Because they have a similar offensive output to Case Western Reserve! And Lewis & Clark has a neat dining hall.

Let me know when you're done with your so-called analysis so I can read your posts again.

It's rather eye-opening when you do an in depth analysis using quantum and mechanical theory....my research/analysis has only begun....stay tuned for updates!  ;D

Can somebody from Whitworth tell me whether we will see the trick double pass play they ran on Willamette? It worked pretty good as it faked Willamette out of their gourd on it and scored a touchdown!

I think the Whitworth coaches have been terrified by GHCs analysis of what is going to happen, so I would expect the Pirates to run a trick play at least every other down. ;)

On another note -

As I was looking over the Linfield-Menlo stats, I noticed no Bubba Lemon anywhere.  Did he get hurt the week of the feature on the Lemon Brothers?

The only trick may be how the QB expects to complete a pass when he is flat on his back.

I know the Cats had a few guys out last week but can't recall if Bubba was one of them or not.
Go Cats!

Pine,

He started at corner.  He's listed on the Participation Report but there wasn't much action for the corners last weekend.

Please, forgive me for posting off subject but this is impressive.  My cousin Ron Hartwig and his wife Charlotte, both Linfield grads and Wildcat fans just accomplished an amazing feat. They just this month completed their 8 year saga of running a marathon in every state in the union + Washington DC. He is age 63 and she's 60. They ran 2 marathon's this month in 2 weeks if you can believe that. Check out the

Congratulations to the Hartwigs! I get tired driving 26 miles.  :D

Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Agreed....but one season at a time.

And while I've been hankering for a tenth game, have you forecasters realized THE STREAK will then require six (6) wins?
Some around the nation who've had a ten game schedule for years may then spout, "They only had 9 games! No wonder!"

Good Point  Dens--but with the AQ we can just fill up our non-conference schedule with cupcakes like our friends at Oxy :)
Go Cats!
