15 on offense and 17 on defense on the first team? Did Don Hansen select this All-Conference team?

They always do it...it's rediculous.  Can hurt anybody's feelings...what a joke.  It cheapens it for the guys who actually deserve it.  There is a reason they have the "honorable mention" catagory! :P

Well...since the NCAA snubbed us we don't want to snub our own players. We're better than that. Who cares how many are on the list...the more the merrier.   :D

The more players, the less meaningful the award.

Stan Fisher should have been ranked higher, IMO.
Two words:  THE STREAK

Sat on this for a couple of days. Part of networking.

Your friend who asked last month when the last time Linfield was scoreless in the first half might also want to know:

Before Saturday, when was the last time neither team scored
an offensive touchdown in a Linfield football game?

ANSWER: October 27, 1984. Final score: Linfield 2, Pacific 0.
.

2-0, you sure that wasn't from the soccer game that year.

I don't recall that score, but my memory is sometimes fuzzy from that year.  ;D

edit: My bad, that says PACIFIC, not PLU.  That's even more astonishing, since Linfield went on to win the national championship.

Probably, but he didn't have enough chances to punt this season to show his stuff.
Go Cats!

Agree...they've been doing this for the past few years and I'm not a fan.

Just an observation and no knock on Adam Anderson (because he's more than deserving) but there has been a general lack of outstanding talent at the RB position in the NWC the past couple of seasons.

Not too long ago guys like Binger, Williams, Reed, Haberberger, Hicks, Russell, Ecklund, and Ford were running wild in the NWC...

I know...Lee was on a level below the players I mentioned.  Very good running back but he never struck fear into other teams like the guys I mentioned above.

Ahhh...the high road...good choice.  Don't want to get the Logs all in a tizzy!  ;)

We don't snub around here..... ;D

Will there be an honorable honorable mention starting next year?  :)

I would like to congratulate Linfield PK Scott Birkhofer, who kicked FGs of 47, 51 & 53 yards. As most 'Cat fans know, he set the school record for longest FG made twice this season. He now holds 3 of the 5 longest kicks in school history. He would have been a great weapon in close playoff games, but that was not to be. Good to know he's got another year of eligibility. Hopefully the 'Cats can rid themselves of the turnover issues and he'll get a chance to split the uprights in the playoffs next season.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.
