That's particularly rich coming from a team that's never, ever, won an NCAA playoff game.

My point is based on your nonsense, also called speculation about Coach Maynard's motives. You called out his credibility, leave scheduling out of it.

Again, what are you talking about?  I said "Can't imagine Maynard had many nice things to say about Whitworth!"  What part of that attacks his credibility?  I can assume somebody in the room probably said "hey mike, you played those guys this year, what did you think?"  I think it's safe to say his answer wasn't "damn, they were the real deal, they kicked our ass and could do some damage in the playoffs."  It probably went something like "well, we beat them pretty handily and their best win was barely beating Linfield who, by the way lost to the 4th place team in the NWC." 

I don't think that's a stretch in the least...

No respect coming from me...win a playoff game...The SCIAC doing well has nothing to do with proving the NWC is a great conference...the 2nd best playoff winning% does.  And my blind squirrel comment is right on...redlands is now, what, 1 for 6,8, 10 against the NWC champ?

C'mon that thing about Redlands ducking Linfield is getting pretty old. Will the wildcats book Mt.Union, St. Johns, Mary Hardin Baylor? Forbid, with playing a D2 school already and a improving Whitworth and PLU team the streak could be in very serious jeopardy. Sorry but I respect Redlands.

Blue, I was thinking much the same on the UWEC game.  Just finished going over the matchups and submitting my pickems and I cannot believe some of the teams that are in the playoffs.  Not looking at the auto bids there are multiple teams that Whitworth should have been picked over.  I'm not sure I'd pick a single second place team, except St. Johns over Whitworth and their record.  Good thing I'm not a Whitworth player or alum, it's bad enough just being a NWC fan.  I cannot imagine what the Pirate seniors are going thru.

As a MIAC fan and alum I'm still in shock over what happened to Whitworth.  I have always had great respect for them and the NWC.  It is a shame things went down the way they did.  Hopefully when you guys get the chance next year you will show them how big a mistake they really made.

Hey guys, this is oldpa, remember me from a couple years ago? I've been reading your board since the selections. Gotta agree with you, hose job for sure. If it's not to late to change your pickums, I will offer a prediction. Eau Claire will win that bracket and be playing Dec. 8th. I know looking at their stats it's hard to figure, but things have gone on in that program and they are very dangerous right now.
