ADvantage Catdome just posted a very useful blog/video that you need to watch before tomorrow.  No need to thank me.

Bas Rutten's Thanksgiving Defense

What a hoot!

Suggestions for next years 'Cats slogan:

Bang, Bang, Boom,!

Kick to the groin!

Two eyes for one!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Foss

He is introduced as "El Guapo" before his mixed martial arts fights, which in Spanish means "The Handsome One."

Whoever tells him otherwise, I'm sure gets a liiiiiiiiver shot!

Brian Urlacher tried to fight him once after Bas stepped on his foot at a charity event. The bouncers pulled Urlacher away and basically told him they were saving his life and who the guy he was picking a fight with was. When Urlacher was told, he went over to Rutten and apologized for everything.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Pat...on your front page Poll...you forgot the category:

None of Above.

(even though I voted for SJU vs Central)

As far as next years Linfield team is concerned.... I think it will be better in many areas. You have to know the defense will be better right off the bat at the linebacker position which is totally important in our scheme. I wasn't that impressed with the d-line until about 3/4 the way through the season so pretty much anything will be better next year, hopefully. The d-backs next year I'd call iffy because we're loosing a couple good ones. I wasn't that impressed with the communication of the dbs against Willamette, especially on the last drive. We will miss our Monster Bean, Mehl and Twatta. On the O-line... I thought they were sort of soft most of the year. I didn't see any fiestiness especially in the middle. They really couldn't move the pile as I could tell. We need some bigger bodies up front, either that or some smaller meaner people. Let's face it there are some big dudes on the D-line trying to push them around and our backs need holes. How many times did we have 4th and inches and we didn't choose to run a QB sneak...that is testimony. (my suggestion would be ...play action and a quick throw to the tight end or flanker about 3 yards down field, but I'm just a fan...or just get up there and have your 6' 5" qb get the 1st on a qb sneak) At QB ....Boehme will work great and he can throw TDs to himself if needed. I'm not worried about running backs or receivers I think we have 3 running backs that will kick arse  and at least 3-4 good quality receivers that are waiting in the wings for some action. The guys we had this year were decent but they weren't clutch guys or playmakers like Hazenburg or Allen/Carter. And our kicking game will be stellar. We need a few more playmakers on offense and defense.

Software has a maximum of eight. Besides, the question is "most exciting game" so unless you feel all eight will be equally exciting then "none of the above" isn't really appropriate.

Well...a lot of them will be good or even great but it's not much fun looking at your computer screen and checking out scores.   :(

I am stuffed. What a great trukey day. Served dinner to many needed familys at the local moose lodge. then we came home and ate the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Nice to have Simon home for turkey day.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope everyone had a wonderful day.
God Bless.

Hey 11. Do you have the highlight tape of the season that they showed at the awards Banquet?

If so would like to see it.

Gig Harbor Cat

WOW 11  What an honor.
Usually I am way to modest to put my best stuff out there but having one of my training video's filmed right here in Gig Harbor on Catdomealumni.com.  My only hope is that all of the random posters that I pi$$ off will still come back and bantor--even after they now know what I am capable of.

PPJ,

All players will get a copy from the staff soon enough.  Still in the process putting the finishing touches on it.  :)

Question for any Cat who attended the Awards Banquet?  Which Cat was MVP for 2007?  Other awards of note?

Wildcat'64....that's a good question. I think we would all like to know more about the awards and who they went to!
