Listening to the Central/St. John's announcers they continually mentioned this was going to be the first playoff win for Central since their "Miracle in the Mud"....ugh,  still reminding us 7 years later!

Still? I missed that -- sorry guys. I can't believe it's still talked about seven years later..... :(

Go Central!!

We're trying to forget it.

Congrats to Central on your game today. Good luck against the Royals next week.

Did you hear that TDT was having a tantrum on the sideline when his team wasn't doing so well today?

Typical TDT....all talk before the game, and nothing to show for it afterwards!

Any bandwagon jumpers are welcome to join the Dutch this season!

False rumor.  TDT was a model citizen throughout.

I am going to wait till half time of the Dutch Royal game to decide whose bandwagon I'm going to jump on this week....In the meantime...I'm betting that this game is going to be close.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Hey, PPJ!  Howzit?

How's your mom? Did she spend Thanksgiving with you? That's great that you served the needy at your Moose Lodge.

Next year we're an AQ conference, remember, so one of us will go for sure.

I do hereby nominate Scott Birkhofer for someone's All-American Team.
But then, there was that matter of the missed extra points.....

D O.C., out of the 36 attempts...there were 5 PAT misses...three were blocked (not Scott's issue) and two were clean misses.

Scott should get some heavy AA looks.  I think the Whitewater kicker is going to press him but Birkhofer should be on Pat's list.

When the boss isn't looking I'll see if the WW guy (who is still playing) can beat 52 and 53 yards.   ;)

We tend to give a little extra cushion to kicks made on grass than kicks on turf. I usually look at the kickers in great detail because there's a lot of things that are balanced out -- a 50-yard kick against Principia is fairly equivalent to a 50-yard kick against Mount Union (yes, blocks aside), so I make sure to note the details such as surface.

Interesting. Factoring in weather too, I suppose.
