The Carroll College Saints will be gracing the cover of SI this upcoming monday.  Very cool for small college football to see a small college get some huge run like this.

[sarcasm]I'm sure the UWW faithful will be crying "no respect" because a Warhawk wasn't on the cover.[/sarcasm]

Not this member of the UWW Faithful.  That is an amazing photograph and a game played in terrible field conditions.  Thankfully, Salem Stadium sported brand new field turf this year or the Raiders and the Warhawks might have found themselves playing in that kind of slop as well.

Could any of you great folks burn a DVD or make a tape of the Stagg Bowl for me? I was on the road, headed for Mac and graduation while the game was being played. I would like to watch it. Thanks in advance.

If you want to buy a copy of the game from the NCAA:

What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

PLU will be playing at St. Olaf this year.

St Olaf...they were pretty darn good last year. That should be a big game for PLU. Nice to see some NWC teams with games against the MIAC teams.

That's great news. The two schools have a lot in common (i.e.; Norwegian roots, ELCA Lutheran, etc.). Good to see that we're still willing to fund some travel. Hopefully we've renewed with Cal. Lutheran and Chapman to make 9 regional D3 games. Should be our turn to host Linfield, Whitworth, and Willamette...so I think we'll be in the mix somehow.

Thanks Coco.  I would much rather it be the 'Cats in the Stagg Recap but I do want to honor those who play in the game.

Thanks 11. Your usual great work. Thanks from someone who missed the game. I loved how Beaver blew that safety up! :o Great stuff.

I hate to say it but this is true.  The underpass in Naples is no place for ANYONE (even TDT) to spend Christmas at.....or should I say under.

We can put TDT to work as a Santa at the Tacoma mall.  Figure that little kids peeing while sitting on his lap is no different than TDT sitting around in his own mess.

GHC,

I bet you have that single wide fixed up mighty nice for Christmas, with Santa hats on the yard gnomes and flamingos.
Is Frosty in the nativity scene again this year?

We'll have a few relatives joining us for Christmas, also.

Support the 'Cats. Give Linfield gear for presents.

Merry Christmas to all our buddies.
