What a stud.

Another guy with all the right stuff.

As always, thanks, WC11.

Guys I know little to nothing about Lindfield football, but after reading those player bios, it looks like you a first class program.

That is a very cool feature that you have on the website, and allows people to gain a better understanding into what makes the player and why he chooses to play for Lindfield.  Best of luck in 2008.  Just be easy on the IIAC if you meet up in the playoffs ;D

Wow, Klop, you really don't know the history, do you? Do a search somewhere on the Miracle in the Mud....

But yes, you're right, Linfield is the class of D3 football -- great program top to bottom. This Central poster has nothing but respect for all things Linfield.

Thanks for the advice Dutch.  I did a little research.

2000:  Miracle in the Mud:  Central 20 Linfield 17

2002:  Monkey Stomp:  Linfield 52 Wartburg 15

2003:  Bad QB play:  Linfield 23 Wartburg 20

Linfield sports two wins against the IIAC to the IIAC's one win.

So other than the miracle in the mud, we have a monkey stomp and Reed Hoskins' 5 INT's.

Hoskins' threw 4 picks.  The 5th INT was off a pass by Wartburg's running back Hodapp when they ran a half back option and he tossed a pick in the EndZone.

Hoskins did throw for 300+ yards and two clutch TD's against a pretty good Linfield defense.  However he did throw 4 picks that I'll give a great majority of credit to the backfield play of Linfield. (Those we not chumps making those plays for Linfield).

Those were some awesome games, especially the 2000 and 2003 clashes.

You had to feel for the Wartburg players in the last game. They came back hard after the previous year's loss, and they gave it their all. It had to be a tough, tough loss.

They traveled well, too.

You can't get anything by the big 11. The eye in the sky sees it all. The man knows his stuff.

Just when you thought you heard it all, up comes another one. Great feelings and expressions of what its like to be a wildcat. I didn't have the chance to be a cat. But I am dame proud of my son. I think he will make a great Cat and we will be great Cat parents.

Sounds like things are going well at early spring training. Get alot of good info from the kid. Likes the way things are going and the whole team is ready to do some damage in 08.

I actually thought the Wartburg QB was pretty much of a stud. The guy was big and could really throw and run also. Hard to bring down too.  Rated right up there in my mind with the QB from Concordia we saw a few years ago but bigger and and also OXY Collins from a couple years back.

Dutch. were you there (MM)  I was and I can remember thinking right on  Game over, then the unthinkable happened.  Guess I phoned that one in a few seconds early.

I was still cheering that season, but they didn't budget for our squad to make the trip. That was the only game that I missed that season....

Good to know that the sports editor of a DIII student paper doesn't get excited watching DIII sports.

He finally said he did in the very last paragraph.  The rest was mostly boring.  I almost stopped reading it.
