I'm not getting this....PLU has scheduled 9 DIII games. What's the trick?   ???
Big budget? They are flying twice, once to MN and once to CA.

I just checked Willamette's schedule, 9 of 10 ar DIII, SOU is on tab. They fly to So Cal twice.

Nine of nine DIII on Whitworth's schedule. Two flights to So Cal.

UPS flies to CA twice.

Cats need to dump WOU and try to scratch up some more airfare.

...the main problem is most DIII teams know we'd kick their hinders..... so they're too scared to schedule us.  ;)

I think you guys should make friends with some of the IIAC teams.... we're always looking for a good game.  ;D

How about this...

UMHB and HSU will fly to NWC venues.

Are there savings involved if two schools charter the same flight between DFW and Portland or DFW and SeaTac?

HSU and UMHB bus to DFW, fly to the northwest and then bus to the game, and then back.

Then arrange a home and away.  Two NWC schools bus to the airport, fly to Texas and then bus to Abilene or Belton the next year.

We can trade flight costs -- we visit the PacNW one year, and you guys can visit the land of corn the next year. Central and Wartburg aren't afraid of a challenge.  ;)

I like that idea, too. Playing IIAC teams would be great! I wish we could get some home and home deals going with you guys.

That might be possible as it seems we have had trouble finding games.  We took a one game deal with Alma to fill this fall's schedule.

C'mon DF4k...fess up.  You know that Alma ADDED Central after dropping Cornell.  The Scots were tired of their annual "whuppin'" at the hands of the Rams.

Apparently the figure if they are gonna get beat by an IIAC team, at least they can spare the embarrassment by getting worked by the Dutch.
