Gig Harbor Cat

'64,
There were special reference sections at the Moon and the Deluxe, so I had to stop in from time to time, but mostly I was prowling the stacks or had my nose in a book.

GHC,
Spread the love for all of us at the Catdome South.
Two words:  THE STREAK

"Did I get the package you left? Uhhh, no... did anybody see a package here today? No, how big was it GHC? Pretty big, huh? Where did you leave it again?

"Oh my gawd...that was you?!"

11- I am sure this has been talked about, but I really like your idea about catdomealumni.com t-shirts. I really love the billboard you have on your site saying " Catdome 24-7-365". I think that would make a cool shirt.

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Spirit,

You are reading my mind "Catdome 24/7/365" is the motto I'm going with.

I've worked up a general idea but I'm having a real hard time with what color the shirt should be....White is too easy, the basketball team has been selling purple shirts at football games the last few years so I'm thinking about a Cardinal Red shirt.

I think this weekend I'll put all three templates on the blog and ask the 'Catdome family to weigh in.

Of couse!  It wouldn't make much sense to have a Catdomealumni.com T-Shirt if the shirt doesn't say "catdomealumni.com".  :)

I'm sorry, but I believe I bought up the world-wide rights to "Catdome 24/7/365" when I noticed it was available.

Nice work. Great summer time entertainment. Thanks abunch.

T-shirt sounds good. Can't wait to see the demos. Grey with Wildcat Purple looks pertty good together. Keep the videos coming. Summers going by very slow.

11,
I vote for Cardinal Red (it's HOT like the '08  team is going to be) with white lettering.  If not white, then purple lettering but it just doesn't stand out as well.  We want to make certain the camera guys can pick out the shirts on the sidelines when they put them up on the worldwide web via CATS EYE this year!

Judge: Duke football indeed stinks

For once, Duke was so bad on the football field that it won.

The News & Observer reported that the school avoided paying the University of Louisville $450,000 for opting out of three football games. Duke lawyers essentially had argued that the Blue Devils were so bad any Division I team could have replaced them on the Cardinals' schedule.

Louisville's breach of contract suit, filed in Franklin County (Ky.) Circuit Court, was dismissed by Judge Phillip J. Shepherd on Thursday. The contract had called for a penalty of $150,000 per game to be assessed if a date with a "team of similar stature" could not be scheduled in the event of a cancellation.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, the judge's summary included the following:

"At oral argument, Duke (with a candor perhaps more attributable to good legal strategy than to institutional modesty) persuasively asserted that this is a threshold that could not be any lower."

Duke has gone 13-90 over the last nine seasons and beat only Northwestern en route to a 1-11 mark and winless ACC campaign last year.

The teams, which played in 2002, were slated to face each other last season, this season and in 2009. Louisville played nonconference games last season against Championship Subdivision Murray State, Middle Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina State and Syracuse.

cawdad...I tuned in too late to hear any of the Boise Burn 55-51 win over Stockton. Did you make it to the game?
Sounds like both Casey and OXYCollins scored like days of yore.

cawcdad

Made it to the game. Collins looked good throwing and ran for 2 TDs. But Casey Allen had the big play as he caught the game winning TD pass with about 6 seconds left. Here are a couple of pictures. I'll have more later, I have to get to bed, tomorrow, NASCAR at Infineon.

If I were hoping to play D1, and Louisville wasn't interested, it sounds like Duke would be a good "safety school". :-X
