About to watch the 2005 UWW-LINFIELD "highlight" video.
Here's hoping the clips were done with 'video shop' and the 'Cats are able to control the ball the last 2 minutes of the game on their way to Salem...Virginia.

                                                     

I recall an earlier version of the game highlights that made it look like Linfield won going away. I'm glad #11 put the time in to accurately document what truly was an epic battle. I forgot how big a game Hazenberg had on defense.

Appreciate it!  However don't think for a second that your sweet talk will get me to do a recap of the 1998 PLU/Linfield game.  I'm still bent on that crap PI call in our endzone that cost us that first TD.  Pure garbage.

I feel Kosterman's pass tip and the ensuing ramble into the end zone was the difference/play of the game.

It was 'fun' watching Beaver run on the new turf...again.

I had not noticed the tremendous fake Justin Jacob's put on an anonymous player. The camera (AND video editing) angle was perfect.

The first WW field goal....I remember now, the ref's got themselves involved in the game on that possession  by seeing penalties on LINFIELD that gave the visitors a leg up early in the game. LINFIELD fans were trying their best to be gracious hosts to the NCAA and there was minimal protest. Big Mo' left the stadium right away.

A fair documentation by WC11. Especially liked the crimson on purple graphics on the final text page.  I'll read it again some day to figure what the heck it said.

Awesome video, WC11.  You used every second of your 10 minutes that time, and it must have been hard to trim it down to that. It was a helluva game.

Thanks for all the congratulations on Little Coco's wedding. It was lots of fun, and the last of the relatives leave tomorrow. We had guests from New York to Hawaii to Alaska and parts in between. Much alcohol was consumed.

Well, the Lutes managed to schedule three other Lutheran schools for their non-conference games. So there should be a bounty of Garrison Keillor jokes and afterglow potlucks in the early fall. They lost a number of very good players to graduation, but I think PLU will be competitive and bring a seasoned team into Nov. when they host the Pirates and Wildcats.

I'm not.  The list of Wildcats that are way more deserving of a highlight vid is too long to ever get to myself so I'm not counting on putting one together.
