GHC,
No chowder served.  We're saving that for the tailgates so we can watch your expertise with it.

TDT,
If you're wanting to see 11 get a big ego, you're going to have a long wait. Like all the 'Cats, he's humble. I'd like to see a video of his clips, though. He was one of the great ones!

Big Hello to my pals in the NWC.  GHC please keep me on speed dial.  I'll need to fly out for 11's funeral when his head explodes from all the constant praise(EGO)!!!!

TDT,

I'd be more than happy to heap praise on you for your fine work at Johnniefootball.com but that site hasn't posted up a thing since your Top Ten Reason's why the beds at the YMCA are much better than the Salvation Army's.

Im sorry but the remark about the comparison between the beds at the Salvation Army vs. the YMCA is hilarious.

Wildcat11....I was wondering if you could do some research for us.  ;D  Is there any method you know of to transmit a video feed of the Hardin-Simmons/Linfield game via the internet or live video? I'm thinking if someone down there could hook up a webcam to a computer and have it feed live so other people can hook up with it it would really be great. It could be just low tech without any comments and just a view of the field. Could you find out about the possibilities for this. I'm sure people would even pay to hook up. I know I would....anyway anything you could do to find out would be much appreciated!

Hey Blue,

I'm not that up to speed about web cam and live streaming video.  I believe that HSU does not have a stream set up but I'll drop the SID at HSU a line to see if they are planning on web casting games this season.

Hello off-season regulars.

Checking back in after being away all winter and spring.  Have to admit it was too painful to come around much after last fall's snub.  Having the moderator rub it in a little didn't help.

But its a new season and should be an interesting year in the NWC.  I saw a ton of seniors from every team on last year's All-NWC team, so I don't think there is any school I'd identify as a clear favorite heading into the season.  I'm really interested to see the coaches poll, but I imagine it will be the usual with Linfield and Whitworth at the top, followed by PLU and Willamette, then UPS and Menlo with L&C bringing up the rear.

Glad to be back.  Looking forward to defending that pick-'em league co-title!  :)

Having often marveled at the exemplary traveling schedule of Menlo I would now not care to be in the Athletic Director's shoes trying to plan next year's budget at, oh, say $4.91 a gallon.

Being a member of the Kinder, Gentler WILDCAT NATION I take no offense at the Pre-Season A-A what-so-ever.

LINFIELD will just have to stay healthy, play tough defense, win the conference, get the best draw a team from the Mild,Mild West (apparently)
can get and upset 3 or 4 teams if the ball bounces and the officials are fair.

'S get it own!

To all my Wildcat Faithful out there, you can now plan out your 2008 Linfield football watching via Google Maps.

Just click on the Wildcat Icons or information bar on the left for game information.

Go 'Cats!  :D

WC 11,
Nice job as always.  When do 2008 Cats show up on campus for the first day of practice?  Are you doing a piece on the Offense and Defense this year?

The seasons almost upon us...can't wait!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

'64,

Not sure when the date is (CatDad?) but we're almost there!  :)

Yes, we only have three weeks left in the video season (Big Hits III, Off preview, Def preview).  I have mixed feelings about the off/def preview because it doesn't really do justice what the actual product is going to be because of new players stepping in new roles but at least it will kill 5 minutes of your week.

Gosh it brought back tears watching the field melt in that 1984 St. Ambrose game.
Washing machines have just gotten better and better and there is no great need for them any more. Well, sure, the stank..........

my fav. part of the newest cat video is the use of the theme from iron chef in the opening clip.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

News-Register ran an article today on Linfield's 7-on-7 re-match with Portland State.  'Cats fell by a few score  but liked what they saw.

That would have been worth leaving a buck in the jar.

Bluenote must have been providing solos on the sidelines?
Well, he woulda if he'd have known.
Anyone clarify this, perhaps just enthusiastic journalism mixing apples with apricots but...if a one hand tag makes an offensive ball carrier down then how could
QuoteBoehme responded by marching the offense back up the field, connecting twice with Torsey, who shook off two defenders and darted past a few more.
happen?
I have to assume it's poetic writing and not like Beaver or Kmic 'shaking off a tackler.' Yeah?
