Trivia time
Who was the Wildcat player to play in the old AFL and was the only AFL player to die from injuries received in a regular season football game?

Okay so I'm bored

According to Wikipedia:
Howard Earl Glenn (September 26, 1934 - October 9, 1960) was an American football player in the American Football League (AFL), the only AFL player to die from injuries sustained in a regular season football game.

Glenn was born in Vancouver, Washington and played high school football in Louisville, Kentucky. He played college football at Linfield College, where he was a tight end. In 1956, he caught a 75-yard touchdown pass and was named to the all-Northwest Conference team in 1957.

In 1960, the AFL's inaugural season, Glenn joined the AFL New York Titans as an offensive guard. Glenn sustained a broken neck in the first half during a game vs. the Houston Oilers on October 9, 1960 at Jeppesen Stadium and died later that day.

Nice job 11!  I'm excited to watch this years batch of Cats go at it!

Can't wait for the D-Preview.

Go Cats!

Proud Papa Joe

Nice job 11. Can't wait for the D preview.

The Cats have 10 returning starters. The Georgia Bulldogs, ranked #1 in preseason polls only have 9 returning starters. 10 is awsome. I feel good things happening this year.

Leave No Doubt.

Go Wildcats

11,
Thanks for the Offensive Preview....looks like the Cats have some real potential in 2008 if they can stay healthy and perform up to their skill level.  Homecoming 2008 vs. Whitworth should be a defining moment in this years drive to the post season.
