'Cats report in a few short days.  Catdomealumni.com (WC11) will be there snapping some pictures and digging up some info.  Plan on running a few specials on our blog (Mr and Mrs WC11 Fav pre/post game places to grub, Player blog "camp diary", and some other odds and ends).

I hope to have a hard date on when Catdomealumni.com shirts will be available by the end of this week.

The deluxe.

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Of course the deluxe is on the list.  The best part about going to the D after a game is seeing that day's offical crew knocking back a few PBR's.  We still try to hit the Deluxe about once every 6 weeks.  The best plan is to get there about 6:30 on a Saturday night before the place fills.  Get in, order a couple of Double Deluxe Burgers w/ fires, a couple of pints of PBR and watch some sports on the tube.

We should have a piece on the Deluxe in about two weeks.

Ahh...the Deluxe, doesn't get much better than that.  11, perhaps a piece on the D3 posters fondest memmories of the best watering hold in MacTown.

Here is a quick list of where we're (Mrs 11 and myself) will be reviewing:

Pre-Game Breakfast: Tommy's, American Cafe (Lafayette), and Wildwood Cafe

Well...it's a dive.  My favorite bar in town but it's a dive.  If you have the wife and son with you then you would way better off at Golden Valley or Hotel Oregon but if you're with your buddies then I would highly recommend the D.  Good thing is they are all on the same street within walking distance from each other.

alright then...cant' wait Oct 4th. we'll bring a motorhome full of Oak fans
Be nice now its our first trip..

Aloha bruddahs and seestahs! That's for DutchFan and Olinemom. I'm back.

We had a great time. My family had a reunion on Kaua'i and you couldn't swing a cat on that island without hitting one of us. Little Coco and his bride joined us after their honeymoon on the Big Island, where they ran into some Wildcat football parents. Cocoette was at the reunion, too, Top Cat.

On the shuttle in the Honolulu airport the woman next to Mrs. Coco told her how she and her friend were taking their sons to college in the mainland to play football. Mrs. C asked what college and the mom said Linfield. Mrs. C asked what high school they'd gone to, and it was the same high school I went to -- Reform School! Nah, not really, but what a small world.

Anyway, we met them in the gate area and they seemed like nice kids. One was D lineman (big kid) and the other was a safety in high school.  Doug Hire recruited both of them, and they thought he was a terrific guy.

I read some of the recent pages, and I don't remember his sister, but the guy who was the president of Chemeketa was Bill Segura.

After a month in the sun, I believe I could blend in with the Lemon family. I hope I don't lose my tan by football season.

DIVISION I HELMET QUIZ PART II

Got my plane tix for my annual trip to the dome- of course I chose Oct. 11th versus those dirty rats. I have to see our mini-streak versus them broken. Of course, I would also really like to see a playoff game when I head out for thanksgiving...

DIVISION I HELMET QUIZ PART II

I was 48/50.  Helmets #24 and #44 still have me stumped.  I think #44 is the Blazers but I could not figure out which school was the blazers.  But on second thought this could be totally wrong as well.  I would guess the #24 to be a Michigan team but could not place that helmet either.  Thanks for that quiz, that is fun.
