Ralph...I would think that more gutsy teams would want to come on board and be a part of the package the ended THE  STREAK.
They did...for fifty-something years!

Now they have Streak Fatigue!  :D

May be you can go home-and-home with a couple of WIAC teams!  ;)

That's been suggested on this board before but I've never heard if it has been attempted....

Truth. One MIAC, one WIAC, and one IIAC would be great.  But we might meet them in the play-offs which would not be as much fun as DePauw, John Carroll and (lick my chops here) Catholic, for example.
Joining NCAA could broaden our student experience more than it does the way it i$. May be we will have to have a benefactor pay for a LINFIELD - Mount Union home and home if we cannot get to the promise land when they do (again).
Our other sports teams have traveled to the south and beyond outside of the playoffs.

Should be a fun game.

Nah RFB.....Redlands will not score 35 on Saturday......I'm thinking 28-21 Whitworth.  Offense will convert their stats into more points this week with the defense being lights out again.  The Runner will be bleeding.........The only thing you are correct about is that it will be a great game.

I like how the Rat fans are acting like the LaVerne team they played last week is comprable to the Redlands team they'll see this week.  Don't get me wrong, I'm  pulling for the Rats (other than my stake in the Pickem) but I think they have a very big challenge this week.  They'll need to do more than convert last week's stats, that's for sure!

If Whitworth scores 28 points against Redlands, the Redlands D will have to have a horrible game or Whitworth will have a great offense.  If Redlands plays as well as they did last week Whitworth will be in for a long game.  Not having seen Whitworth play anything can happen but I was very impressed with Redlands D last week.

I think there is a factor that is not being covered.....I think the Redlands coach blackballed Whitworth last year in the playoff selection process. I think there may be a revenge factor going into the game. Even still, I don't think Whitworth has the horses to win the game on the road. Just my take...
