GHC can't make it down this weekend.
Gotta take care of stuff around the ole single wide and stuff.
I will be down for the rat game.

I did get some interesting insider information, but of course I can't share it on the board.  Its good stuff-- but bad for Menlo.

Cats are a +24 all day long in this one  rain or shine
Salty D pitches a shutout
That makes it 24-0 boys

Cats in a ROMP
Phone it in--its in the bank boys

Anyone care to provide insight on LiveStats?

I messed around with it for two Division III games Friday night.
Nice looking but I could not get it to move even if I refreshed.
Just wondering.
Bored....? Me? Why do you ask?

Game of the Week...Rats vs BearFarts.......Rats might win, because the BearFarts seem to cave in when pine cones are falling around them! But I still pick Willamette over the Rats.... :-*

28-10 BearFarts

Linfield vs Menlo
24-0  Wildcats (surprise me!) Hey, GHC and I came up with the same score!

From Today's News Register:
QuoteThe game will be the second start for Linfield quarterback Cole Franklin, who last week led his team to an exciting 14-7 overtime win over visiting Southern Oregon. Smith said that while Franklin wasn't perfect in the win, he has no complaints regarding the effort his signal-caller put forth.

"I thought he played, in terms of effort and desire, tremendously," Smith said. "The guy's a fierce competitor and is fun to watch play. He just exudes confidence in terms of his efforts."

More updates later.  Rats lose 32-23.  Willamette was a good team but not more talented than Whitworth.  Just more disciplined and made adjustments at half time that Whitworth didn't have answers for.  Surprise, surprise...Whitworth runs on first and second down, then runs again on third and short and throws on third and long.  They put in a bunch of variations of each play out of different formations this week and they worked well in the first half.  However they went away from them after the half.  I don't know why, but they did.

Willamette really didn't make mistakes.  They are a well coached team.

The only silver lining is that we now know Willamette is not head and shoulders above the conference.  I'm just hoping for a win against the Cats next week, which is very possible considering your very pedestrian offense, and then Willamette needs to lose to Linfield and/or another NWC team to keep Whitworth in the playoff hunt.

Anyone know how the conference three way tiebreaker works?  I'm too lazy to look it up.

In the case of a three way tie, Linfield gets screwed....oh wait, that was before the auto-bid..... ;)
Go Cats!

Before the auto-bid winning the conference apparently didn't mean anything either...

Hey...we almost scored 24 like I predicted...8 field goals would have done it!  ;D

Looks like it's likely both SJU and Central just got knocked out the the playoffs with 2 losses each now.....

Ya...how do they decide on the auto-bid if we have a 3 way tie? What's the criteria?

D O.C.

Who cares!? Win outright and you don't have to approach a math major with, "Excuse me..."

Here are the  2008 NWC Standings
                        Conf.       All
                         W-L       W-L
Willamette          1-0          5-0
Linfield             1-0             2-1
Pacific Lutheran    1-0       1-2
Puget Sound        0-0       2-1
Whitworth         0-1        2-2
Lewis and Clark     0-1           1-3
Menlo                    0-1           1-4

Your comment doesn't make sense. Until some other team beats them the Bearcats are "head and shoulders"  above the conference. At the least, they are above Whitworth, Lewis and Clark, and Menlo in conference play.
