And, yes, the Wildcats would win at least two of the three games against those SCIAC teams.   Very possibly all three.     Linfield could also beat other Top 10 teams in the Regional Rankings.

I'd say all three...bring 'em on!

coco

That goes for me, too!

It would beat the hell out of playing non-D3 schools.

Give me a break Pat

With all of the marginal crap that is put up on all of the boards ,  At least this old material is a spin about  football and defense, or lack of O- rather than frickin hamms beer and ice fishing

Again give me a break.

GHC

Please. It's not about football either. It's just a lame joke.

Next time, use WC11's sarcasm brackets. I'm much more used to those. I've never downplayed Linfield's proud history as a football program, just some of their idiotic backers that can't give any amount of respect to other programs. Redlands has a long and proud history as well.

Completely off the topic, but one of my favorite high school teachers played for Redlands.

Indeed, my grandfather and grandmother were teacher from Redlands.  I think maybe my grandfather even played football for Redlands but I'm not sure.....
Redlands turns out a lot of teachers. Very good education program. If he was there in the early to mid 90's I played with him.

My sister is a teacher that graduated from Redlands.......but I don't think she played football :o

Probably not -- she would have had to go to some place progressive, like Willamette, to have done that!

Comon Pat you know that my posts are deep,

You have to look beyond the joke so see how it relates to the UPS O vs the Cat SALTY D.  Hell 90% of what goes on here is lame.

Peace out

And speaking of the chick kicker--don't get me started.  If you want the inside details on that lame situation, we can fire that topic up any old time fellas

Doesn't change the 27-0 score or the inconvenient penalty, does it?  The girl kicker wasn't even very relevant in that game.

Hum wasn't that a first for a girl ?  Wonder if she thought it was relevant !
Not very progressive (11 how do you do that sarcasm thing) thinking  bbaddict  ;)

Well, it was relevant to her & for historical reasons, but her kick did not affect the outcome of that game.

OK I have a news flash for you boys.  I coached two of your star players on that team in high school.  They were your stud noseguard and inside linebacker.  We still communicate to this day.  These boys along with their teammates busted their ass to have a great college career.  To this day they will only be known as the team with the girl kicker rather than the outstanding club that went to the NAIA national Championship game.  Last month one of the two E-mailed me to say he was traveling from out of state to come to WU for the teams 10 year reunion.  Check the press, the most prominent story was about frickin Liz the kicker--not the boys that got the work done.  Coach Hawkins is a showboat--was then -- is now.
These are not my feelings they are of your Bearcat Alum star players

Phone that in

Not true GHC.  I was at the dinner where they honored the team & "the girl" as you put it.  Maybe your friends felt upstaged, but it was just "an emotional thing" I think because they were honored that night and also at half time at the game.  What I remember most is their tackiness in picking on the current team, who had a lost a tough overtime game to Whitworth that day.  That team is worshipped at WU and I'm just hoping that this year's Bearcats can give them another team to brag about for years to come.
