QuoteMost of us had human girlfriends. Then there was DenS.

who had a chick magnet and always closed the deal with, "Sure, I'll show you where Sadie the monkey lives but it's back in my dorm room, are you sure? Let's go then."
See you later,coco.

Sorry, DenS. Couldn't help myself. You'd teed it up.

Yeah, Sadie was a cutie.

My mistake, Monrovia Cat -- that's next week's rankings after they beat WOU.   ;)  They are #10 in the West Region this week.  And, GHC, I'm pretty sure that's not the 2007 rankings because Willamette is ranked #1!!  Wow, I like the sound of that!

And GHC, how do you know I'm not?  It's irrelevant -- you post like a crabby, old man, which I assume only part of that is correct.   And, you ARE mean -- so gender issues aside, be nicer!

Since you have been on the board all of 10 minutes with all of the other bearkittie front runners I will cut you slack.  Oh and you were one for three bb

Yeah, I told you that I'm usually on the BB boards, thus the bbaddict name.  That's not a place where we see a whole lot of Linfield posters.   Since Linfield was King of Football for so many years, not many other teams' fans had much to say.   Times are changing.  Who knows, maybe your bb team can win a few & we'll see you on the bb boards?

BTW GHC, that's not the one I would've guessed I was correct on.   ;)

BearcatPress, Nice article. I see Pat also put a link to it under the "What we're reading" section of the Daily Dose. That kid made life tough on our secondary in the 2nd half. Only a sophomore? Another key NWC player who is going to be around for awhile.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Hey Foss,
You and the boys represent without me this weekend.  The Tides are hosting a first round 4A game against Federal Way, so I will be staying in the harbor. Gotta make sure all of my baseball players that play football stay safe ( and win) 8)

Just saw the weather outlook for your area for the weekend.  Could be rough, which could equal things out at the Catdome.  I know that our boys are capable of getting this done.  I know coach Smith, and I know he has the boys prepared to do battle.

Cats by 6.  The Salty D shows up big this Sat.  Cats are a +2 on turnovers and bring it home.

Phone it in, this one is in the bank boys.

I'll be anxious to see how the Bearcats perform in the rain; so far this season all their game days have been blessed by perfect fall football weather.
Forecast is for temps in the low-mid 50's and Rain in Salem on Saturday.

Fumbles and Interceptions could be a game-changer.

GHC,

Will do. Should be a good one this Saturday.

GHC,

Good luck to your boys up there this weekend.

Maybe FM76 will make the trip down here on Saturday and offer a few encouraging words to the teams.

Thanks Foss, and thanks Pat!  Scott's a great guy and deserves all the attention he's getting.

Not quite true.  As I recall (and the Whitworth folks can correct me if I'm wrong), the game up in Spokane was played in less than ideal conditions, with some rain and wind.  But I am glad we're playing on turf at McCulloch instead of at Baker Stadium, "the worst surface in the league," according to Speckman.

I know coach Smith, and I know he has the boys prepared to do battle.

Let's hope so. Seems to me he's been in a little over his head the last 3 years. Several people have told me that they feel the program has taken a few steps backward in terms of game plans/adjustments, motivation and team discipline/fundamentals.  Plus I don't see that "fire/energy" I'm used to seeing in a Wildcat Team. They just seem to be going through the motions.
