Guess it's time to book our trip to Salem . . . though the show did not specify locations.

Looking forward to a good game next week.

Go Tigers!

Willamette Set to Play Occidental in NCAA Football Playoffs
Bearcats Enter Postseason with 10-0 Record
November 16, 2008 12:12 PM

SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University will open the NCAA Division III Football Playoffs by taking on Occidental College on Saturday, Nov. 22. Willamette is 10-0 on the season, while Occidental is 9-0 overall.

The winner of the Willamette-Occidental game will play the winner of the first round game between defending national champion the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and St. John's University (Minn.). The round of 16 game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 29.

My two cents: The Bearcats don't make it past the second round.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Spoken like a true Linfield homer!

What do you base your prediction on, RedandPurple?

That's a brutal first two rounds for the Bearcats.  The #2 seed and probably the defending national champs if we make it.  Wow.  Damn.

Truth.

It would be nice to play Aurora or Monmouth some day.

Got that home advantage though.

Wildcat'64

Good to get two tough games out of the way and get sharp for Mt. Union in the final.

Go Bear Cats....do the NWC proud!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

I think Oxy will have home field advantage week 2.

Brutal - indeed! Definitely the toughest bracket of all the #1's.

One game at a time - like the Bearcats have been playing all season - for 5 more games!

Whitewater might be a struggle,  but I think they could take SJU, if they get past Oxy, which they probably will.

I wouldn't look past SJU at all.

Here's one person not looking past Occidental. :)
