Willamette:  
 *   They came out flat in the first half.    Falling behind 21-0 to a very good football team is hard to overcome.    (That is what happened to Linfield against WU.)

 *   But, WU did come back strong.    Had a great 2nd half.

 *  WU defense was no match for WWW's strong offense.    (Linfield's strong 2nd and 3rd quarter against WU should have been a clue.)

 
Whitewater:
 *   Their early season romp over UPS told us how good they are.

 *   Much better passing than I expected.    That was the difference in the game.     WU never could stop the very strong WWW offense.

 *  Defense was awesome in the first half.

Since 2004, the NWC best has not beat the best from another West Region conference.    WWW should be the goal that the best NWC teams need to attain.      

GO WILDCATS! GO!    Next year.

Congrats to Williamette on a well played game and a very good season.  We were fortunate to get off to a fast start because you had our defense reeling in the second half.  Nobody has done what the Williamette offense did to us this year.  It was a hell of an offensive game.  Fortunately ours was up to the task.

George, it took two regular season losses to Mount Union for us to understand what we had to do if we wanted to be among the best in DIII.   These games are lessons well learned.

Best of luck in the future.  For a first time meeting it was one that our fans will remember.  Perhaps we shall meet again in the future.

Congratulations to the players on both WU and UW-WW. Good season for both teams.
And kudos to ALL DIII football players who gear up every Saturday and lay it on the line for their team.

Did I say move on ??  Didn't think so.  I simply stated that your boys are one and done.  Just because I wasn't on the bearkittie bandwagon you feel the need to take your lameass driveby shots at me.  OK fine--  Its no biggie to me.  After all I do my share to liven up the board.

My attitude is that at the end of our season we start reloading for 09--thats it.  Just because I wouldn't drive across the street to watch a(non Linfield) bearkittie game--well its just my call.

I will though be there when our Cats come to town next year-- So stop by have a High Octaine Longie with the boys and I. 

I have to run I have time set aside to get caught up on my Springer reruns at the old single wide here in the harbor.

Until then enjoy your off season.

+k to you BearcatPress -- couldn't agree more.  Just get tired of jabs from people who can't even stand by their statements, so they go back & revise them after the fact!

I guess it's something that UWW people are impressed with WU, since they know what a quality team looks like.

Me too.  Anybody that can put 500 yards of offense against our defense has my respect.    Woo, Horne, Leslie and Schoettgen are exceptionally talented players.

 No actually I corrected my statement in your honor, I mean really after 385 posts and you representing the ONLY quality team in the NWC that has gone this deep in the playoffs I felt it only right.  Plus you are actually calling 09 games and 08 isn't even in the books !!  I guess the NWC at large should just not even show up in 09 and just check in with the high and mighty bbaddict and have she or he just pick a score and
