Surprisingly, D3DataCast now has Trinity as one of the last four in.  I don't know what assumptions this makes about the rest of the season (other than not getting a pool A).

Edit:  Matt Synder (aka D3DataCast) says "It takes the Top 21 teams by average NPI across the 1,000 simulations (playing out the season and conference tournaments) who are not the most likely Pool A from their conference.

So really, this is a view before bid thieves enter the mix."

St. Thomas handled Trinity (again) last night thanks in no small part to a first half where they outscored the visitors 39-20.  The Tigers closed it down to seven three times in the second half, the last with 1:17 remaining but could not get any closer as all five Celt starters scored in double figures.  And in what almost certainly wasn't good news, Christian Green entered for the first time in several weeks four minutes into the opening stanza, only to depart less than two minutes later.  He did not return.

Trinity has beefed up their annual Christmas tournament, traditionally a four-team event, and the 2025 edition of the Leslie Robinson Classic will feature eight teams:  St John's (MN), UW-Stevens Point, Marietta, Mary Washington, St. Thomas (TX), Schreiner, Hardin-Simmons, and host Trinity.   The tournament will run Dec 20-21 in San Antonio.

Mary Washington and HSU made it to the Sweet 16 this year; St. Thomas and St. John's, the round of 32.  Records for the season just completed:

HSU 20-10
Marietta 11-14
MW 15-15
St John's 25-4
St Thomas 26-3
Schreiner 20-7
Trinity 22-5
UWSP 18-9
