Bates has posted their pre-season roster and they are showing 20 freshmen, which would be an averaged size class for Bobcats. FY class is highlighted by QB Kody Greenlagh out of St. George's in RI - who could give Plashkes a run for his money for the starting job out of camp. That being said, I would not sleep on FY Golden seeing some early reps at the QB spot. Seems to have ran the vaunted triple option in high school, something that should give him an early leg up on other first year QBs who will undoubtedly struggle with the adjustment.

Couldn't agree more on the QB situation. Greenhalgh comes in highly touted but the sleeper is Golden. He is the son of Catholic Memorial head coach. A great athlete who ran the Bates offense in HS makes him a great fit for the Bobcats.
Surprised to see diveback Ivan Reese moving to LB.

Eagle322

Agreed LC - I think Reese will look to fill the void left by hard-hitting OLB Coulibaly, who left the team this winter. Not sure how the experiment will work out, with Reese being a senior and having no experience at the position in college. Became expendable at dive back when they moved Sr. slotback Jansen to dive and with the emergence of Soph. Boyer, who impressed at the end of last year with his hardnosed running style.

A "football" sort of post.  The Colby website has listed its Class of 2020 recruits...on its roster.  As usual, info wrt physical size is not available.  The Mules way of not providing size info on its returning players continues.

Trin9-0

Looks like Trin will be rocking white lids this year. Not sure if the Bantams have ever had worn white helmets before. I can't wait to see them with the decals.

Trin8-0....white is good! :).  New image of " good guys"?  Guess the Batams are sticking with Nike uniforms for now.
Guess the boys of Fall arrive on Monday.  In general, 2020 FYs' orientation is late this year...as much I can deduce....feels strange.
Wesleyan has announced that with outside help, it has a new athletic website "face".  I like the look!

ColbyFootball

I understand the former associate head coach  and OC at U of Maine was hired as the new QB coach at Colby.  Maybe Michaeles will make him the de facto OC. If anyone has more specific information on this, and the outlook for the coming season it would be appreciated.

it's going to be an interesting year already.  get your popcorn!

Just noted something as I wandered throughout the Nescac schools.  The schools that show this season's schedule do NOT show broadcast video, etc. for conference matches.  It appears that the  network that provided the CAC sports for almost all the schools in the past is not noted on the sports websites.  Has the conference decided to go with someone new or is still in negation?
Anyone have info on the subject?

It's not unusual for five weeks before the season starts. A lot of schools that start in Week 1 don't have their links up, either.

And there you have it.  Pat's negation.

Thanks guys......so I cannot spell :'(
Whatever, today, there are signs of video and stats beside the appropriate games.

Will answer my own inquiry.  There seems spotty communications between SIDS.  Example...Amherst has video and live stats markers for all schools except Trinity.   Trinity has no markers yet.  Wesleyan has most schools with video as well as Williams.  Both Wes and Williams have indication that NSN will be the broadcaster of choice.
Guess you can say...if you wait, they will come or get around to it!
