in Detroit now connecting to BDL.

Never been to the Coop.

Wow....Detroit and Hartford on back-to-back days. Nice vacation WCD! Make sure you lock your rental and wear your bullet proof vest...

NESCACMAN,  I'm going to use Uber in Hartford.

90 mins sitting on the plane in Detroit was no fun.

Nescac won't go playoffs in D3.  It will change the culture.  No way.  No how.

Better (and safer) than tailgating at the Coop...

There is nothing unsafe about tailgating at the Coop other than the long a$$ walk to the field due to a major construction project.

Agree with nesacman no football playoffs until the Ivies do. NESCAC schools wish they were Ivy so will always emulate their big brothers.

On the subject of nine (or ten) games, it's always struck me as inconsistent that the Dread Presidents have no problem with Spring Post-Season play (MLAX, WLAK, Crew, etc.) even when that means the athletes miss graduation.  (Both the Trin and Midd WLAX seniors fell into that category last year).  And even winter sports and other fall sports get to go to tournaments (Fhockey, MBB, WBB, etc.)

BUT, BUT, BUT I hear you say: It's EXPENSIVE to send 75 FB players, plus coaches and trainers to an extra game!  That argument would make sense if the Spring teams didn't have to travel to multiple venues for the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and Final Four.  That's got to be a bigger bill than sending a FB team to one post-season game.  Particularly if (as I suspect) FB players support the Annual Fund more than athletes from other sports.  In which case, you could spin a D3 Bowl Game as in investment in philanthropy.

While my argument may be logical, it's moot when the Dread Presidents believe consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds...ed
PolarCat: I was under the impression that the NCAA picks up the travel tab for NCAA playoff games. In any event, I have always heard that it was a league wide concern about football over emphasis and not money that was the rationale for not going for a 9th game. Quite frankly, neither makes sense and a 9th game should be an obvious decision.

Pat Coleman

That's correct -- the NCAA picks up the tab for the official traveling party to a NCAA Tournament event.

For the record Devanney is a fine coach but if you put Mills in that Trinity machine with all the resources and admissions leniency Trinity would be even better.

Mills is the benefactor of assistance from Amherst's admissions as well.

Amherst LEADS BABY!

Should be up by 2 scores if not for a bogus penalty after the second interception backed them up over 25 yards.....brutal call.

Finally seeing production out of that run game. Keep pounding the Rock EJ!

Running the wildcat with Carmilini at QB and I am waiting for him to pull the ball and grab a big gain as he has yet keep it and shoot the A or B gaps. It will be there eventually.

westcoastDad

14-3 baby!!!  Its wild over here.  Let's finish this!

westcoastDad

14-10.  Trinity running a nice pick play to perfection

westcoastDad

Wow.  TD Trinity on a sack fumble.  Unbelievable

With some incredible holding by the blocking receiver out in space. I guess it's only wrong if you get caught!

Nice drive by the Bantams.
