If it doesn't show 2019 just edit the address and replace "2018-19" with "2019-20"

A better look at Trinity's new home uniforms, as modeled by their top WRs (L to R) Jonathan Girard, Koby Schofer, Devante Reid, and Dakota Foster:

I don't love the collar, but the NESCAC patch is a nice touch.
NESCAC CHAMPIONS: 1974, 1978, 1980, 1983, 1987, 1991, 1993, 1996, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023
UNDEFEATED SEASONS: 1911, 1915, 1934, 1949, 1954, 1955, 1993, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2022

Good looking Trinity Unis. Assume that's one of 3 jerseys which go along with a couple of different color pants. They always have an extensive array of different uniform looks.

Speaking of patches I thought the NCAA was requiring all teams, including D3, to display the "150" logo this year to commemorate 150 years of college football.
Believe it is to be displayed on the team jersey as a patch or it can be a decal on the helmet.
I haven't seen this on any NESCAC uniforms yet- not sure if its just a D1 requirement.

I hate to admit it but as a young kid I remember the 100 year logo that all divisions of college football displayed 50 years ago.

If that Amherst tentative roster is correct, 7 of Amherst's 8 top rushers from last season do not return (Ollie Eberth being the only exception).  What's strange is that four of them had eligibility remaining.  Okoronkwo and Jung, if not playing this year, are definitely tough losses.  On the other hand, Amherst is always incredibly deep at TB, and all you need is two capable guys to handle the offense.  They would however be more susceptible to injury at that spot with so much talent not returning.  LB, another position where Amherst typically reloads rather than rebuilds, is still the bigger question mark for Amherst, since the entirely starting LB corp graduated and Yamin was obviously a special talent.  I imagine the Schiano brothers might make a bigger impact at LB this year.

All that being said, Amherst clearly is favored to finish no worse than 3rd in the league ... but I do think the margin between Trinity and Amherst (and really everyone else) is a lot bigger this year.

Just noticed that the Colby-Bowdoin is a 4:30 start time.

I see that the Bates@Colby start time is now listed at 1:00.
The start time was previously showing as TBA which led to some speculation that this years Maine State Series might be under the lights for all games.
Bowdoin will play twice under the lightsthis year- at Bates and at home vs Colby.
No night games in Waterville yet- maybe the Mules will host their first night game next year.

I believe the College Football 150th anniversary patch was encouraged, but not mandatory for FBS and FCS schools. There are a few schools who have opted to not to wear it either because they didn't like how it looked (Army), or because they're celebrating their own significant milestones (Stanford, and UCLA who is only wearing it on the road).

I didn't notice this initially but there's no uniform maker logo on the new Trinity jerseys. The previous one was made by Nike, not sure who produced the new version. It's very rare to not see a Nike, Adidas, or Under Armour logo on football jerseys these days. I haven't seen a new white or gold Trinity jersey so I'll assume those will be still be worn this season and it looks like other Bantam teams are still wearing Nike uniforms so it doesn't appear to be a College wide move away from the Swoosh.

I realize all this uniform talk may be tedious for some as we wait for NESCAC football to begin so here's a fun article and video about record setting former Trinity kicker, Eric Sachse who set Boise State record and earned Mountain West co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors in his debut (an upset win at Florida State).

I see a lot of swooshes in that pic. On the headband, sleaves of the undershirts and left hip of the pants.

Right, that's another reason to believe Trinity is remaining a "Nike school". That's why it's odd that the new jerseys aren't produced by Nike. If they were then you can believe the swoosh would be prominently displayed. My guess is that they're made by a much smaller supplier and perhaps the Bantam head patch was added to cover up that logo. Just a guess though.

I will be surprised if Trinity losses a game this season. The culture of support in all forms from all sources is simply different from all other NESCAC schools.

Here's the link to the Amherst preview. Not as well-informed as I would have hoped, but decent generalized points.
