You cannot help it, can you? I am gonna stop taking the bait Chuck. 10-112 and TD vs Trinity in November. We know Trinity is great and everyone else sucks.

Really he had 10 receptions in that game ok If you say so but did not seem like it at all on TV. If he did then I as wrong  , good game and I am willing to admit that. No and I am not just Pro Trinity but think best WR was LUTZ was more impactful on games and big games.

The Mole

And Lutz was rightfully named OPOY and 2nd Team All-American. I just do not understand the minimization of his opportunities. Are you incapable of saying Congrats and best of luck?

TAKE THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED

I have not seen anything for Lutz, or Helbig for that matter, but do we know for sure they haven't received offers?  Some guys will announce all of offers they receive on social media, but others prefer just to announce when they have committed ...

I did say great accomplishment and congrats to him I am truly happy for him and good luck. I do wish him the best. I am not taking anything away from what he accomplished I was merely stating what appeared to me on TV. I wish him luck !!

Tomlinson is 6'3 205 and Lutz is 6'0 180. If I had to guess there are a lot of schools that won't even bother calling Lutz for that very reason.

They are absolutely different receivers but I would take lutz in any situation over diawara. I mean let's be real he would not have even started at tufts last year.

Tomlinson wins the beauty contest here and will probably draw the most attention. However a proven receiver like Luz with decent speed and great hands would not be disqualified from serious consideration because he is 5'10" 180. We are not talking Power 5 programs here.

SpringSt7

I didn't say it was wrong or right re: who receives more recruiting attention. Just that if anyone is curious as to why the one who produced at a higher level isn't receiving more, a good place to start would be his height and weight.

lumbercat

I thought you said a lot of schools wouldn't bother with Lutz based on his size. Maybe I misunderstood.

SpringSt7

That is what I said, to be clear, which I again think would be stupid. But I'm assuming most of these schools start by putting all these names in a list, a very very long list based on recent portal numbers, and think that because they are D1 or FCS that a D3 kid with that size is a non starter. If they watched tape it would probably be a different story but are these schools going to watch tape on 500 WRs? I don't have the answer to that.

CC_Camels

According to DiCenzo's twitter Helbig was offered by Colorado State and has a number of FBS schools coming to visit...it is going to be cool to see how this shakes out for all the NESCAC guys looking to move up to Division 1

Charlie, the league allowed Spring practice in 2022 with the missed season from Covid in 2020. Relaxed the roster limits (but still could not dress more than 76 on game day). I believe they are going back to not having coaches formally at practice for Spring 2023.

FWIW on roster sizes. I believe the league scrapped the 75 player roster limit due to COVID. Spoke with the Colby AD at the Bowdoin game, and he mentioned the league returning to a roster limit in the near future. I believe he said 85 players by 2025 (I could be mistaken here). He mentioned this would be tough for some programs like Wes and Trin that have rosters close to or over 100 right now.

Muleshoe-
I've heard that Cosgrove might be moving on. Any validity to that from the Mule perspective?

I know the skeptics are out there but I thought Cosgrove did a great job Coaching there last year probably the best in his tenure.

Lumber - that would be news to me, although I haven't posed the question to anyone within the program either way. I would imagine if he does moves on, it would be his decision, not the College's. I think he's done a fantastic job turning around the program and gaining alignment with the new administration.

As frustrating as the end of this season was, I think the team is on the cusp of truly contending for the first time in 10 years.
