Sorry gang, I spent the weekend getting engaged and didn't have a chance to check out the Trin/Wes scrimmage.

I did heard that the Bants looked good however. Also, I've had the opportunity to stop by a few practices and Eric McGrath is going to have a huge year. Not that it should be a surprise to anyone who has followed the league the past few seasons.

Not sure if this has been posted but a group of Trinity students have set up a website called TSPN and they actually do a great job of covering all the Trin sports teams. There's a video previewing the upcoming football season featuring interviews with McGrath and another of the Bantam tri-captains Tyler Berry. Check it out at http://org.trincoll.edu/TSPN/

I have the Bates-Bantams game on my calendar since I'll be back in the Hartford area this weekend.  Don't know whether or not I can make it, but hope to see some football when I'm back east.

So they went with the most experienced guy, no big surprise.  Sounds, however, like Coyne might get a chance to show what he can do at some point, and perhaps Bennett will be used as a change of pace guy.  Lucey was the best player in the league the last two years, but the Ephs have the best set of tackles, the best WR, the best RB, and potentially the best tight end in the league, so they just need a guy to get the ball in the hands of the playmakers.

Being Garnet and in Glassboro I guess you need to pick on someone.  So okay Garnett you've had your fun I guess your uniforms are soooo way coool.  Watch out Keane University may come and Getcha!, or maybe even that other school in Yogi's neighborhood!
