Where did you find the pictures of new Weston Field?

If you search for the "Williams College Athletics" page on facebook they offer a few shots of the project posted August 11th. You can see additional photos on twitter @ephsports. Also, here's a August 22nd story about the Zoning Board of Appeals approving the use of the facility despite not yet being completed: http://www.iberkshires.com/story/47277/Williamstown-ZBA-OKs-Phased-Completion-of-Weston-Field.html that includes one or two shots.

amh63, the design looks fairly traditional to me. Also, I fully agree that Middlebury-Hamilton, should be a season finale. Though, I assume the rocking chair tradition isn't more well known is because the "rivalry" has been so one-sided with the Panthers winning every game since 1995.

Lumbercat....seems Trin8-0 posted first.  I wrote a reply but forgot to hit "post"....lost it in more ways than hitting the button. :'(
There are also some pics on the Instagram link.

I'm not sure what any of it means (perhaps nothing) but it is interesting to look at ...

Back again....too much idle time.
Seems the Football season has arrived in the conference.  Bowdoin posted on Twitter today that Football practice has started...provided a pic!  Most interesting.....in that today is when their FY students ARRIVE.
Amherst FYs got started on Sunday....Williams FYs hit Willytown on Monday.  With all things being fair and correct in the conference.....the first day of practice starts today for all schools.  I know that returning students do not get into their rooms until later in the week.....according to the Amherst schedule....9 AM on Friday the 28th.  Oh well.

FourMoreYears.....Yes the numbers can also be confusing and perplexing.  Amherst returns 100% of its passing...along with both Hamilton and Tufts.....two schools at the bottom of the conference last year.

I know with respect to Bowdoin at least that because orientation trips are now mandatory, no first year students are at this first practice. All the first years, football players or not, will be gone after today into the woods and seaside of Maine for the next three days.

It presents a challenge for Bowdoin coaches to then get all the first years back up to speed because they miss a healthy amount of practices at the beginning of the year.

Also D3Football.com published their season kickoff for this year. We (Joe MacDonald  Middlebury '16 and Adam Lamont Bowdoin '16) were lucky enough to do the preview for the conference and each individual team so make sure to go check that out.

We'll obviously be doing a lot more stuff on our site before the season starts, but that is a little bit away still because we are not at school yet.

@AmherstSports tweeted a picture of their new Nike uniforms which includes a black option.

Would they wear these against Williams? My guess is they'll break them out for the Colby game.

Nice pick up of info Trin8-0!  Amazing what you can find when trolling tHe social media links...more than some school websites even.  Plus K to you.....sorry about messing up your handle in an earlier post...fixed it.
My guess Is that it will be in the Williams game too....for a different reason.  Never got a story about the change of the start time in the season finale...other than the it will be under the "lights.  I figure that the lights will be shut off when Amherst gets a lead...in the black uniforms, the Williams' players will be hard pressed to make tackles.
In a more serious tone....I wished that a new special uniform would have sleeve stripes.  Like the old Princeton  ones....in the glory days of Coach DARP.
Yes, a little more "Retro" talk.
With reference to the new Williams press box being "traditional" in look...by Trin8-0......how can you call a press box that is topped with a beanie like structure...traditional look? :).

Colby QB Justin Ciero who left the program is said to have transferred to another school, does anyone know where he went?
Strange story indeed considering the opportunity he had to do something special this year for the Mules.

gridiron

Re Colby QB Justin Ciero, reliable sources suggest University of Rochester...

lumbercat

Thanks Gridiron- I also heard that it may be Rochester but don't see him anywhere on their 2014 roster so I was wondering if this is correct info.
