@Trin8-0 I think you just proved @lumbercat's point even more. Maybe it's time to close the yearbook....

How so? I merely answered the question related to my affiliation with Trinity.

I'm not quite sure why I'm suddenly a target. If people have a problem with the gif, that's their issue. If it's offensive, I'm sure Pat can, and would take it down. If you just don't like it, tough. There's plenty posted on this board that I don't care for but you don't see me whining and asking people to take it down.

This is supposed to be fun here fellas. Lighten up.

Trin, that's a pretty cool play, though it'd be called back in today's NFL with a couple of the O-linemen creeping onto the field early.

Technically it should have been called then too.  A good no call though.

You're no target. I really enjoyed your gif when I saw it the first several times going back a year or more. I also enjoy your contributions to the board but to have the same clip still jumping around in your posts makes me want to shut it off, like a broken record.
Why not get some new material and give this one a rest- been riding it too long, to me it's kind of bush league to keep running it into infinity and not consistent with a great, classy Trinity football tradition.

Hold on, I read your earlier post too fast on my IPhone......- the clip that you have committed to eternity over and over on the board is you making that play against Amherst???...you made a great play that day!!

If I made that play I would want to relive it and commit that clip to perpetual repetition as well, cant blame you. A great achievement for you.

No intended harm here, total respect for Trinity football, but the response I got from your fellow (older) alums, also ex Bantam captains:       Geez I hope he's not one of those guys where we go to his house for a cookout or an Alumni event and he's got that individual clip playing over and over on every TV in the house- it's a fluke play in one of many wins for Trinity.

Nothing personal, no angst, just giving you some input and a different opinion.

I returned for my 35th HS reunion a couple years back.  The point guard from our State Champion basketball team still has the clippings and photos from the championship game, hanging up above his desk, in the used car dealership where he's worked for 20 years.

Seemed kind of sad to me.  But maybe reliving his long-gone glory days is therapeutic?

PolarCat.....does Bates play Trinity this upcoming season?  If so, maybe both you and Trin8-0 should invite each other to your cookouts and chat over a hotdog.  Got a feeling you both will get along :)
Throw some chili on those doggies!

PolarCat

Only if he promises not to try and sell me a used car.

Retired Mule-
Always wanted to ask a Mule what happened to your ex teammate and all Nescac QB Ciero- did he end up playing elsewhere and hopefully finished up his degree?

Hey LC - it is honestly kind of hard to track what happened to  the kid. I know a couple of his teammates stayed in fleeting contact with him. It is a bit hard to track where he went following his Sophomore season, but Linkedin shows him as a student at Fordham graduating in 2017.  At the same time, he is not listed on the Fordham roster so all signs seem to point to him hanging up the cleats.  Unfortunate to see for someone so talented.

Also an interesting news story coming out of Colby football social media, SR RB Jabari Hurdle-Price and SR DE Henry Wallrapp have been named captains for the 2016 season this coming fall.   This is an interesting development for the exclusion of QB Gabe Harrington following his JR year captaincy.

Thanks for the reply on Ciero. Good to see is pursuing his degree at Fordham.

Trin, I was on that Amherst team and have no problem with your gif, even with the fact that Mills brought that play up every special teams play in practice and in film from there on out in my career. It was a head's up play

Just wish it was a wider lense was a little wider so people who weren't there could see that half the offense and a few coaches came onto the field and maybe some volume so we could hear the ref swallowing the whistle...

Polarcat, I am patiently waiting for a report on the insensitive students that wore Green and drank beer on Thursday this week.

Luckily for them (luck of the Irish?) Bowdoin was on break this past week.  We spent St. Paddy's Day in Bradenton, FL watching the WLAX team trounce Vassar.  9:00 AM game, so the green beer and Jameson's was nowhere in sight, though I did see some green Gatorade, and rumor has it PolarKitten had Lucky Charms for breakfast.
