Let me step out onto a limb to forecast that NESCAC football with respect to playoffs will not change certainly in the short and medium terms and probably in the long term, NESCAC believing that what was good enough for the vast majority of collegiate football 70 years ago ought to be good enough for NESCAC today.

Frank, there was some humor implicit in my post.  In other words, "NO KIDDING?!"  :)

I should be able to make a direct comparison between the NESCAC and Centennial Conference this year.

And how may I ask, are you going to do that?

C'mon, it makes perfect sense. Mini-iamhuge is going to become a Jumbo, to fulfill his destiny. Personally, I think the Wabash Little Giants would have been a much better fit.

Now, instead of mini-iamhuge, or iamhuge jr., he can be iamjumbo...

Ok now I'm confused.  Are there two mini-huges?  Is one going to Tufts?
There are, in fact, two mini-huges, if not more. It would seem that one of them is going to be a Jumbo, which one, I'm not sure.

I am anxiously awaiting mini-huge junior junior's highlight reel.

For those in the NESCACPP that are unfamiliar with the Huge-ster, here's a quick refresher:

Awesome.

I am so proud to now know that I grew up one neighborhood away from Mr. Iamhuge.  Awesome.

Actually one of them has a junior and a senior highlight reel.  The other only has a Junior highlight reel thus far.

Huge, is it my imagination, or is one of your sons a budding sports commentator/journalist (Rutgers '12)?  I might have to lighten up on you a little if that's the case.

Ok so who is this kid?  THAT kid is D1 material.

I think he'd score some TD's in the NESCAC.

I don't know who the kid is, or if he's as legit as he looks in this highlight, but why do you go and throw him on an Alabama board?  Why do you promote these kids like this?  Why don't you stay a little more realistic and maybe more local.  In this case, the likes of Rutgers, Syracuse, BC, Delaware, Maryland, UNH, UVA, Temple, etc etc.  You look foolish going right to these other boards that are the brass of college football.

You may be right...but based on the responses, it seemed like some of their fans liked watching the video.

A pretty safe rule to follow for this, or any other, fan message board: post a video or info on a kid if he is actually being recruited by and/or interested in a school that is being discussed on that message board.  If you are posting the same video on both an Alabama and a NESCAC board, you are wasting the time of at least one group of board regulars, because there is no way any viable Alabama recruit is considering a NESCAC program.  It's not too hard to find about a million recruiting videos of high school kids playing football.  I really don't care (nor does virtually anyone else) unless those videos somehow relate to the college team we follow, at least potentially.

So I guess the question is, is this kid being actively recruited by any NESCAC schools?  If not, why is the video posted here, exactly?
