Frank--that would be a fun one for the alum for sure.

AlDavis

oooh snaaap......damn the Reverend Hobart throwing out The Adolph Hitler Card on Frank's stanky aarse.....Williams ooc game should be themselves since they like looking in the mirror at their own reflection.

Anyone interested in Williams Football should catch the Wiliiams football weekly  telecast available through the Williams website. They do a great job reviewing games and previewing their upcoming opponent, Frank traditionally participates and always does a fine job previewing the upcoming game.

Wow Frank, did not know Any of the Pomona colleges in the foothills fielded a football team.  Harvey-Mudd has the brain power but not the size to meet up with Williams.  They do meet up in tennis sometimes...I believe.
Hamilton and the university of Rochester would make a nice in state rival game?
Amherst and WPI...being less than 20 miles apart could prove interesting.
Williams and Middlebury seems a natural in conference, as they yearly compete for the Director's Cup.

Technically yes they have a team. They've won 2 more games than CalTech since 2010 which sounds encouraging until you factor in that Caltech doesn't have a football team.

But the Caltech SAT scores are almost impossible to beat.

Al-
As a Tufts guy here is your chance to talk Football. How bout filling us in on what's going on with the Brown and Blue?
Unofficial word I have is 6 seniors and 37 Freshmen....??
How do you admit 37 FY's in the NESCAC ? Can you confirm if that's true.

Also heard they have dropped Bowdoin as their tradional scrimmage partner. Who will they scrimmage this year?

AlDavis

...I posted my disclaimer earlier that I was not a Tufts guys......just chose username quickly being a NESCAC board....I would like to see Tufts win , but like the recent past , ain't happening.....went there a couple times knocking on the door and no-one answers....the only info I have is what someone posted here about that Chance running back going there , pretty obvious why they only have 6 seniors if true.....this year I am sarcastically rooting in as previously posted the Daily Double 8- 0 and 8- 0 ......and 0 - 8  and 0 - 8 scenario unfolding and for Williams to go 4- 4 , but for Frank will shoot for 3- 5.

Tufts has over 5,000 students.  They probably have smaller % of their student body playing football than the other schools.

Rev: Korea? North or South? Doesn't the North have an incipient Little Hitler? Does he need a little attention and love? It is doubtful that the giving of such attention and love would be my cup of tea. Al: Your correspondent has already spoken on this board concerning Williams 2013 football prospects (as Casey Stengel used to say, "you can look it up") and is temporarily out of breath. Nonetheless during the season on Wednesdays you can catch up-to-date information from the HFC himself and others at the Williams Sideline Quarterback Club luncheons in Williamstown. This year the luncheons are taking place at 11:30 in the Log on Spring Street. All welcome for a small per luncheon payment or alternatively Club membership and dues without further payment.
You would have to get the NESCAC presidents to agree to a 10 game schedule for football in order to play these games.  The ninth game, if ever permitted, would be to every other NESCAC team each season and not alternate between two different teams for the season's opener.

Jonny.....I would hope so,  being that there is a 75 player roster limit in the conference :)
Do not believe that Tufts has reached that number in the "modern era".
The pre season scrimmage partner is another thing that is so stupid, IMHO .  Amherst has had Williams as a partner for awhile.   Think on that pairing for a minute..I always thought the scrimmage was with the team that one does not play dueling the season....guess the numbers do not always work out.  If the rumor is true, who will be the scrimmage partner?
Two questions for posters...being that I do not know....who are the scrimmage partners in the conf. And are there any changes.   Being that the scrimmages are coming up this weekend and all!

I was just thinking about the JV teams and realized that the nescac eliminated the JV teams is that correct?  Or at least had to count those JV frosh as roster players?

gridiron

I know Bates and Colby scrimmage each season.  As for JV games, I know Wesleyan plays some games as does Colby.  Could be others too.  All players do count against the 75 man roster maximum.
