Glazier appears to be a transfer from Stetson University (although he may have four years of eligiblity left, it's unclear, as he may have redshirted).  His high school stats were out-of-this-world:

There are some very impressive QB prospects arriving in NESCAC next year (the incoming Williams QB has already been widely discussed, and a few others are highly-touted as well).  Glazier I imagine will have to wait his turn behind a pretty stacked QB depth chart at Amherst (Foy, Morales, and last year's highly touted FY Eberth).

The best QB recruit coming to the NESCAC in my opinion is Jack Newman from Analy, Ca.
He's a great fit for that Middlebury aerial attack.

Just watched his Hudl highlights. This kid has game! I agree with you. This kid is a great athlete with a hell of an arm.

Glazier was listed on the 2016 roster for Stetson so probably has used up a year of eligibility even though he saw no action . .

Glazier might have been redshirted - may have full eligibility.

As for Newman coming to Middlebury it's another great recruiting conquest by Ritter and Caputi, recruiting QBs to Middlebury is like recruiting Linebackers to Penn State...

I think the recruiting approach goes like this....

We are perennial contenders for the NESCAC title ...We will throw the ball 50 times a game...you are following the legacy of 3 QBs who were all conference selections and led the NESCAC in passing. We are consistently ranked in the top 10 of all Liberal Arts colleges in the US- Our alums are exceedingly successful---you need to jump on board with the Panthers and have some fun throwing the football.

When my son visited Middlebury (he ultimately chose Amherst, but was awed by Middlebury's facilities and Coach Mandigo was great to us), a direct quote from Coach Ritter when he met with us:

"WE THROW THE ROCK AT MIDDLEBURY. IT IS WHAT WE DO."

That's the deal, they have a great thing going up there. Not a lot of great pass defense in the NESCAC and dominating D lineman are always scarce in the NESCAC. A good approach year in and year out at Middlebury. Throw it.

I'm very familiar with Foley.  Solid QB, very intelligent, good arm, accurate and poised.  Speed and athleticism are weaknesses.  Interested to see how he does at Hamilton.

dlip loves this post lumbercat, +k. Middlebury is just an awesome school and place in general. dlip loves how they throw the ball! He used to date a girl there while he attended UVM. dlip always felt like a ****ing dope on campus when he would come down to see her. Place just felt smart, elite, academic, and athletic. What else is there?

Best of luck to the Panthers this season!

Congratulations to the Williams College student/athletes, coaches, and staff on winning their 20th out of 22 Directors' Cup with record total points amassed by scoring in the maximum allowable 18 sports (with 9 each for the men and the women).

Quite a remarkable feat of sustained excellence in academics and amateur athletics, now reaching 35 national championships in 11 different sports in the short time in which NESCAC started participating in post-season competition.

The gold standard of deep and broad accomplishment in small college liberal arts education, both formal and accidental.

A lot of learning starts at Williams College every day at 4:00 in the afternoon.
