The Bowdoin roster also shows 77 players so maybe the cap has been lifted to 77???

Hamgrand-

Good points- very well taken.

On paper, based on recruiting evaluations, returning players etc I think Hamilton and Bowdon have made the most significant improvements in the conference in terms of personnel.

Regarding Hamilton- looks like Murray adds several guys who are currently shown in the class of 2020 but were not on the Buff n' Blue roster
last year....... Transfers, Cuts?? kids brought back in a sort of a Red Shirt process??

Not sure- but curious and will find out. No implication of foul play whatsoever. Murray has a very fertile recruiting ground upstate where most of the NESCAC doesn't go......"can't get there from here".

At the end of the day if Hamilton chooses to make a Wesleyan or Tufts type of transformation they can be formidable. Will Murray get the administration
commitment to winning football games that Civetti and Whelan/DiCenzo got.  Its all about money and resources.

On the Bowdon front- believe Polar Bear admissions relaxed things a bit and Coach Wells is a happy guy. Their incoming class is stronger than last year.
Overnight, they have 5 or 6 good QBs so you know kids are drinking the Wells cool-aid. AD Ryan has had an influence on Bowdon Admissions.

What's up Nescacman. Regretfully my wit and wisdom have taken an unfair hit that merely time can rectify. I have only perused up to page 550 so far with so many fronts to catch up on. The Wesleyan loss to Amherst in 2014 was heartbraking reading the box score. Wow 9 game schedule must be so exciting for all involved....Such a huge event cannot be cannot be asked for its credentials it has no need to give dramatic proof of its existence.

Left to go to dinner....back again.  Some comments after reading the latest posts.
PolarCat....I counted 76 for Amherst...but my tired eyes maybe not as good as yours.
JEFFAN....there is another preview...one dealing with Game 1 with Bates.  Much more specific, etc.
Seems the outburst of Amherst FB news has its "errors".  Saw some errors wrt position and missing size info in the roster.
Missing FYs Unknown presently. Injuries or decisions to redshirt....Adjustment to college life is not easy, imho.  My personal experience included getting used to "New England cuisine" that included "mystery meat" and scallops that one could use for squash balls.

I debated whether I should tell you this.  Those "scallops" are more commonly referred to as "Rocky Mountain Oysters", culled from the formerly-large cattle herds of the Pioneer Valley.  "Squashed balls" instead of "squash balls", as it were.

They are supposed to have a significant impact on a man's virility, as the fact you have 12 children would tend to substantiate.

Right you are -- I must have counted wrong . .

PolarCat

Then I am reasonably sure I counted wrong, too.  I always have trouble counting with 5 fingers on one hand and six on the other.  That's the price you pay when cousins marry cousins, I guess.

Usually HC Mills produces  an early season preview, golf outing pics, etc and a connection to social media football accounts on the football website.

The coach doesn't produce any of these things. All of the information on a school's website is coming from the SID. Coach Mills isn't sitting at his computer writing a season preview and neither is any other D-III football head coach.

Apparently Hamilton does have a football team.
That's good since I'll be traveling up the road to Somerville/Medford for Conts/Jumbos maƱana . Enjoy, everybody!
