The bullys are everyone who calls Trinity Hartford State - it's a great school even if it's not as good as where your jr. goes -
we all know for a fact that your children are way smahtah and way more qualified to attend a NESCAC than ours - ours barely got out of high school - but you do not need to CONSTANTLY rub our noses in how much more elite you are!

I like you more and more with every post.

Thank you for your apology.  Your heart's in the right place.

And if nothing else, you caused a certain Michaeles-basher to hit the pause button, no matter how fleetingly.  And for that, we are all grateful.

BantamMom: Trinity is an excellent college. Everybody here knows that. Nescacman is just messing with you with the Hartford State thing. He messes with everybody. Your grocery store encounter reinforces what most on this board already know: Graduates of various NESCAC schools are much the same people,  separated by a few points on the SAT or an affinity for wide open spaces vs. cities or Maine vs. Connecticut or whatever makes 18yos - and sometimes their parents -- pick a college. (Details: I went to a NESCAC school, not Trinity, as did one of my kids; the other went to a UAA school).

I think this board needs to look at the above and say "statistics don't lie" AND give the Ephs their due.

And the Ephs were on the road for both games............

President #45 would have zero problem with those kids and the 51-0 scoreboard photo.  He would probably say, "they knew what they signed up for".

Jesus Christ... Give the politics a rest please.... How about keeping it about football?

WCD-
Why would you take a Nescac Football blog into the political arena- What is your motivation?

frank uible

Parcells says, "you are what the scoreboard says you are".

While I generally agree that we shouldn't be diving into politics here, no one seemed to have a problem when people took a NESCAC football blog and steered it into lengthy discussions about kneeling for the national anthem.  But I guess only certain political viewpoints are welcome here ... and yeah, God forbid WCD distract from our recent enlightening conversations about the size of posters' genitalia with one TINY quip related to politics.

frank uible

I vote for kneeling under each of its many possible circumstances.

lumbercat

Political topics and discussion appropriately have never been prevalent on this board.

When National Anthem issues and expressions are taking place involving Nescac athletes and teams it is certainly relevant.

Political analogies relative to a stagnant Trinity football discussion seem out of place and intended to inject a political tone on the board.

I think most of us enjoy Nescac football and follow the board as a nice diversion which is removed  from political issues and discussions that take place best elsewhere.
