gridiron.....noticed the schedule changes; however, missed the "overtime" change.  More particulars or references?

Back again....surprised myself even.  Noticed that Hamilton started classes today.  Maybe a Hamilton roster?!  Went to the football site.  There is a a long writeup of the upcoming football season and expectations.  Even a mention of the schedule changes. Hamilton wants more wins this season...only three wins in each of the past season.  Hit the roster "site"....no 2019 roster :'(....yet.

Here's the link for the Hamilton preview: https://athletics.hamilton.edu/sports/fball/2019-20/releases/20190828oz1v10

Hamilton doesn't usually post a roster until right before the first game.

More FYI: Tyler Hudson graduated with his class, and he won't be playing for the Conts this year.

DC53-
Thanks for the info- thought Hudson was going to use that final year of eligibility. He will be missed.

Fun preview in the Globe today:

https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/colleges/2019/08/29/from-aic-yale-quick-look-new-england-college-football/EkhkkLD2ZkPzUS9BvczeXI/story.html

@bantamweight This Boston Globe article referred to Cosgrove as "third-year coach Jack Cosgrove" He is in his 2nd year and that line does not capture fully who the man is as it relates to New England Football. Just saying...

harlequinfarm....nice info wrt Williams' football program.
Expect new family members of the football family will find their way to keep in touch with their sons.  Watch the games online and start posting here and attend a few live games.
Many years ago, I posted here about parents from New Orleans that rented a house in Amherst during the season.  Even brought their Chef up to have a big cook out before games.  Their son was the QB.

The Purple People Feeders reached out to us so we will be joining the crew feeding the boys.  Can't say they'll have crawfish etouffe though!

Beautiful evening in Willytown last night.  They had a fine bbq dinner for the young men and their families, out on the lawn behind the stands.  What a wonderful welcome to the entire football family, and a family it is.

We are blessed to be in the local area (by Nescac standards).  A couple of families were in from afar, and returning there shortly.  If they are like us, they have been at their son's every game his whole life.  Now, he's 1000 miles away and some of the games, they just aren't going to be there. That's a gut punch to be sure.

Our extended family, unfortunately, will be following along from a distance, too.

What are the best options for remote people to stay on top of games?

Agree, it was a delightful night in Williytown on Saturday.   The BBQ was great, but too short - so many people to see.

The new Williams Inn, BTW, is fantastic.

Re staying in touch, get the NSN (Northeast Sports Network) app for streaming.   If you do not have it readily available, you can get it with an Amazon Fire stick.  All NESCAC FB games are broadcast via NSN

I will get that setup and pass on the info on seeing the games!

I saw Tim Russell transferred from Hamilton to Endicott. Is it common for NESCAC players to transfer?

Thats a tough loss for Hamilton. A fine linebackerl. His brother is a top RB recruit from Stoneham, Ma class of 2020. I guess the Continentals will not have a shot at kid brother Seth who is attracting some serious interest as a RB for the Spartans.

I see Amherst updated their roster. No pics and some of the player info looks incomplete or out of date (my son hasn't weighed 175 in the last 5 years) but the basics are there. FY Eckelcamp at RB looks like a load at 5'8", 216lbs with some considerable speed and quickness.

NBC93, seems like some big-time TBs did not return for Amherst?  If so, we will be seeing a bunch of unknown faces (perhaps to include Eckelcamp) at the position ...

Looks like they also have Trey Jarmon returning at DB after not playing his Junior year.
