Thank you. Is the travel/dress limit still 76 this season then?

Does anyone even know what happened to former Colby DC Coach Davis? I haven't seen anything about where he went, or why he left so suddenly? Any updates there or who has filled the DC role with the Mules?

With a tagname of Scoops one would think you have access to the best information!

Davis to Assumption; Liam Hobbins(ex-Bowdoin) to Colby.

That doesn't look like an upward move for Davis. Lateral move at best. D2 can be a coaches graveyard.
Davis' move looks to be in the same category as the departure of OC Shea Dwyer to Hamilton.......Puzzling.

I know the life of an aspiring Football coach, especially on the small college level, can be very fluid with many moves but this scenario suggests 2 guys who wanted out.

Hearing that Coach Davis was supposedly the head coach in waiting at Colby. With the AD switch, that deal apparently went out the window. If this is the case, I can certainly understand a lateral move for both he and Coach Dwyer. Not a good sign for the future of the Mules. Apparently Davis was a very popular presence for the players, and they are not very happy about how things have gone down in Waterville this off-season.

Scoops...now you are living up to your name! 😀
Perfectly said and accurate assessment.
Rumor is though that Hobbins is extremely talented, well received and respected by his former players. This could end up being a great selection.
