Just checked some stats after my post.  Yes my bet is on Trinity D being 1st or 2nd in ppg in 2024...
2023 1st
2022 1st
2021 2nd
2019 2nd
2018 1st
2017 1st
2016 2nd
2015 2nd

Those numbers reflect a great, perennially dominant Bantam offense and are also augmented by Lord Jeffrey's proclivity for running it up like no other coach in the league.

GroundandPound

I got them from defensive points allowed stat sheets for each year not offense.

Misread your original post- my mistake.

Makes me wonder what Trinity points scored numbers look like compared to the rest of conference. I'd bet those numbers would show the Bantams dominance there as well.

GroundandPound

I suspect they may be similar.  Let's face reality...Trinity Football is dominant and for any other team to be NESCAC Champions, they will need to beat Trinity.

GroundandPound

Trinity PPG per Offense rank in NESCAC.. as suspected...the Bantams usually on top in offensive ppg...

I would have supported the Bowdoin pick if it was being played at Bowdoin. Bowdoin played Williams really tough last year at Home and seems to play better at Home then Away. However based on what Trinity did last to them on the final game of season offensively through the air I do not see Bowdoin being able to stop Berluti regardless of who is catching the football.

Congratulations to Wesleyan!!! It looks like they are first with a 2024 Football Roster (just awaiting freshmen photos).  I did notice two rising senior wide receivers may be match up problems for some DBs simply due to their height.  One is 6'4" and the other is 6'6".   Get them lined up on a short corner, and play catch :-).

Trinity may beat colby by 100 points week 1

First post on the Boards. I agree with mostly everything here. I think Wes plays Midd closer than that but agree that they don't win. Not sure about Bowdoin, though, seems unlikely that they win. As for Williams, I see them winning against Hamilton and am curious to see how their punting game looks like season. They lost their senior punter from last season who was great at drawing penalties because of his slow-appearing motion then quick leg swing to create fast exit velocity. The nuances of his game were honestly special for those who cared for that aspect of the game. Regardless, I see them taking care of Hamilton. Trinity and Amherst are basically locks.
