If you are reading this post then  I wanted to congradulate Carthage on the win today against Elmhurst 10-5 ;D If I am not mistaken that was your school wasn't it? (Carthage) I mean.
CCIW congrats... now don't tell me that they are going to end up in the pool b bidding war also   :) jk

Thanks, Chakote! I am pleasantly surprised at Carthage's success this year seeing how they had few returners from last year. I thought they would be "rebuilding" this year and struggle a bit in the CCIW. For once, I am happy to be wrong.

I think that the committee wanted to split the 2 NWC members.  IMHO, GFU and Pac LU will be bussed, Chapman will go to Linfield and some other team will be flown to another regional, e.g., Mississippi College or Cal Lu if they get Pool C bids.

Chapman #1 in the west once again, I am sorry for bragging but this is 4 years and 4 years of great baseball, they fought hard all year and didn't give up I am proud of you Panthers thanks for the memories :) :(

The 2010 Chapman team returns 16 players from the 2009 West Regional Championship team with 18 newcomers on the roster. Chapman will need to replace the following players from the 2009 squad.

Chapman returns pitchers with a 19-12 record and a 6.12 ERA (based on last years stats).  I am really not sure about this team but they always find a way to win.  Also, who is the coach that voted them #1 in the Pre-Season poll ???  I think Chapman has a lot to prove this year, but they very well could do it, just like they have the past few years.

Independent power Chapman (Calif.) returns a pair of key players in two-sport athlete 2B Tyler Hadzinsky and senior OF Ryan Prechtl. Hadzinky was named the athlete of the year for 2008-2009 by D-III independents, doubling baseball player (he batted .376 with a team-best 18 doubles) and soccer goalkeeper (he's posted 0.62 and 0.68 goals against averages the last two seasons). Prechtl hit .315 with seven home runs and is a four-year starter in center field.
