UWO gets a seven inning no-hitter from Brett Gaynor to complete the DH sweep against River Falls yesterday. Gaynor faced the minimum 21 hitters with the only batter reaching due to an infield error but then being erased via a caught stealing.

That was the 12th no-hitter in the history of tge storied UWO baseball program.

UWO appears to be locking down the #3 seed beating up on teams in the lower third of the conference the last few weeks after losing five straight to La Crosse and Whitewater.

Have a weekend Adam Cootway!

He goes 10-for-17, with 5 HR's, and 14 RBI's in four games against Point this weekend...

I was impressed with how well Eau Claire played against a strong La Crosse team. Can anyone explain why the Blugolds haven't won more games ?

Eau Claire was up in every game I think and La Crosse came back to win every time. What a series.

Second day in Oshkosh was much closer as Oshkosh needed a walk off in game one and the Titans embarrassingly lost game two to the Falcons. That is a bad loss.

The WARHAWKS (25-2, 16-2) pounded on Pointer (13-16, 8-10) pitching scoring 56 runs on 61 hits including 13 home runs. Cubs already mentioned the huge series Cootway put up.  He was getting intentionally walked by the end until his last at bat when, with bases empty, they pitched to him and he promptly doubled. It was also a record breaking and tying day for Scolon who broke the program career hits record with his 260 hit and tied the WIAC record for runs scored with 225 when he scored three times on Saturday.

Eisenbarth (3-0) got the win in relief in the suspended game which finished a run ruled eight innings 20-10.  Eisenbarth threw 3 scoreless innings.  Huseboe (4-0) allowed a single run on 4 hits with 7 strikeouts over 7 innings for the win in game three of the series. Hopper pitched two scoreless innings allowing a single hit in relief.  Taczy (1-0) came in relief in game four pitching a scoreless inning with a walk and strikeout for the win.
