I just read this on NJ Online, Rowan baseball players suspended for drinking.

I would not be surprised if these off season problems effects their early season games.

I housed a summer league baseball player who got caught drinking as a minor.  The whole incident ended out helping him on the field as he was pressing at the plate, trying too hard and once his mind had something else to worry about, he started performing.

What are you suggesting, Jim?  [chuckle]
A walk is never as good as a hit!

Pretty impressive performance by Ramapo coming down to VA and defeating nationally ranked Lynchburg College today.  I was very impressed with their fundamentals and of their approach to the game.

NJAC, (Kean), followers,

Is it true that Kean U gratuated 6 starting/relief pitchers last year?  Like 2/3 of staff!!
Did quick check and following were all Seniors last year:

Brandon Aich
Colin Feneis
Pedro Rivera
Kyle Murphy
Joe Rizzo
Drew Campbell

Close to 250 innings pitched from these guys :o  WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out our Mid-Atlantic preview next week and see which other player Kean will not have for 2010. It's someone that was not a senior last year.

Thanks John, will do.

Also poll so far shows that voters think Kean will most likely take part in their regional!

I read Kean has a D2 transfer from Tampa who performed well in the ACBL last summer as well as pitching transfers from LIU and Keystone or NJCU.

Well then, the above transfers should pick up some of the slack from the hugh losses stated above!

Kean All American Mike Moceri did not play in the opener.  Does anyone know why?

Is anyone going to compete with Rowan in the NJAC this year? On paper, they clearly look like the favorite

ArkRiverSnake

Eastern Connecticut vs. Kean on Feb 27th.  Any thoughts on this game? Who will win?

A side note, is Mike Russo from Kean legit?  11k's in 6 innings

Don't count Montclair out. First time in a long time we have come out 2-0.  We have Heidelberg and Wooster coming up this week. We will soon have a better idea. The NJAC should be real tough this year. Let the marathon begin. ;D
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Is there somewhere else on the Internet that the NJAC fans hang out? Great baseball programs, the best league in Division III and it's not close, and yet this board is pretty dead.

Unfortunate.
