Hendrix has played well this season without having anything to show for it in the "W" column.  Their 0-4 record has been with final scores of 4-2, 6-2, 3-1, and 4-3 in 11 innings.  The pitching just hasn't gotten any run support.  

I see that this game is now going to the top of the 9th with Hendrix and Austin still tied up at 3-3.

HX gets five runs in the top of the tenth to clinch their first win of the year, 8-3!

A much calmer day in Alpine where Mike Panozzo pitches a complete game shutout in a 3-0 victory over Sul Ross.   Kyle Felix gets his third HR in two days, a two run shot.   Thanks again to @fastbatbb for the tweet with the results.

Live stats is working for the second game of Millsaps at Southwestern.  Millsaps is up 2-1 with SW coming to bat in the bottom of the 3rd.  No results have been posted for the first game.

Things are beginning to look a little familiar in Sherman...

Hendrix led 3-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth, and the 'Roos have now plated one following a Warriors error (same as in game one). No outs, two runners on and in scoring position in a 3-1 game...

The live stats appear to be down at Southwestern as it has shown a 2-1 score in the middle of the third for at least 45 minutes.

Heading into the top of the seventh and Hendrix leads 3-2. Austin College got their third out with runners on second and third in the sixth.

AC's starter (Burke) is still in, but Hendrix is on their fourth pitcher.

Millsaps has tied the score at 4-4 and it is now the bottom of the 8th.  

You know, as annoying as it is that there are no live stats or free webcasts of this game, isn't it amazing that we can follow these games so often in real time.  I read a post a year or two ago about what a change the internet has brought to D3 sports.  The writer, a former D3 baseball player, wrote about discovering 2-3 months after the fact that his former team had won the national championship.  This was at a time when there was no internet, therefore no websites or emails, and he found out about the championship when the quarterly alumni magazine came out.

My how times have changed.

Millsaps has taken a 5-4 lead with the game now going to the bottom of the 10th.

Millsaps sweeps the DH with a 5-4 win in 10 innings.  Winning a road series is always good in the SCAC--if Millsaps is able to get the sweep tomorrow that would be a very nice plus.

Jules Roussel, Jake Mills and Ryan Zemke each with 3 hits.  Box score says Varney got the win but the winning pitcher was Jason Riggins who pitched 5.1 scoreless innings to finish out the game.

Finally decided to pay for a month subscription to CTVT so I could get the video of the Millsaps at Southwestern game.  Made the move because the live stats are once again down at Southwestern.

The video feed is just video.  There is audio--two guys muttering in the press box, but they are just carrying on a conversation.  Since there is a mic that works in the pressbox, would it be so hard to have someone at least announce the score at the end of each half inning?  As a Millsaps fan, it's only going to be annoying to me for this one game, but if I was a Southwestern fan I'd be real disappointed by Southwestern failing to provide something so simple.

I can tell that Jake Mills is pitching for the Majors and I've seen each team score once.  Beyond that, paying for the video has been wasted money.

Update from Georgetown--I have absolutely no idea of the score.  Seems fairly low scoring.  I've seen Millsaps score once again, but I haven't been watching non-stop so there's no way to know if anyone else has scored.  I've been hoping that the stadium announcer would give a score, but so far no such luck. 

Someone from Southwestern just hit a home run--don't know the name of the player.

Sul Ross video has a Word doc up (really) that says it's Trinity 10, Sul Ross 7, bottom of the fifth.   SR just loaded the bases and TU is making a pitching change - Matthew Tyndall, a 6'3" frosh.

Edit:  Tyndall must have gotten out of the jam because the Word doc now says top of the sixth, same score.  

Edit 2:  Now 17-7 TU in the top of the eighth.
