You'll find SCAC discussion in the multi-region board.  Come on over, we'll be happy to have some Rhodes chatter.

Makes for a tough ten days .. three games over the weekend, long bus trip to Abilene for a pair on Tuesday, then back to town for the set with Hendrix.  Klimesh/Panozzo/Fink got starts this weekend, that leaves Solomon for one game Tuesday and ??? for the second.

Very suprised to see Fink get the start on Sunday....but even more suprised he went 5+.  That could be huge for TU if he gets going.  They need another starter as it appears they will use Lucero out of the pen.

infielddad--I hope the trip to Abilene goes well....I know Coach Scannell loves the trip.

According to live stats, Andrew Larson (0-0, 3.38, 8.0 IP in 8 appearances) will get his first start for Trinity versus McMurry.

following that up....No Jonathan Hall at short, Paillet getting a start in LF, no Calbick and no KYLE FELIX.  I wonder if this is discipline or sickness.  Either way, going to be an interesting game.....

Leadoff Man

Trinity is up 5-0.  Looks like a sloppy game for McMurry so far.

Andrew Lawson is a senior that was converted into a pitcher last year.  In the past he's seen playing time at all of the infield spots.

There's no telling if the change in lineup is for discipline, sickness, or rest.  This trip to Abilene is always an adventure.

Ron Boerger

Now 5-3 and Solomon has replaced Lawson with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the fourth.

Make that 6-5 after a wild pitch and a single.

6-5 now McMurry......TU gives up 6 straights hits

ILVBB

I know that a couple of the kids are dealing with minor injuries and medical issues. I suspect that they are getting rest to insure that they are ready for the weekend. I would also assume that Calbick will be on the bump sometime today.

scratch that....8-5 now with 8 straight hits

ILVBB

Solomon faced only 3 batters all got hits and threw 2 wild pitches. That can't be a good sign.

finally get out of it.....7 runs in the inning on 8 hits...TU now trails 9-5.  I bet Coach Scannell is going ballistic right about now....

... and now you gotta wonder who's going to start the second game.

ILVBB

Midweek game, with a second game latter, big weekend series for both teams; I suspect that there will be quite a few more runs scored before this game is decided.

Ron Boerger

You say that, so of course Lucero retires six straight batters on 13 total pitches and Trinity also does a three-and-out in their half of the sixth.   :D  9-7 McM top of the seventh with a new P coming in for the Indians.
