Plattsburgh is alot easier to get to than Potsdam or St Lawrence coming from the east or NYC area. Even coming from Western NY, you can take rte 87 up instead of 81 to rte 11.

Well I suppose I better just come out and say I had Hope 4, behind 3 teams I've had them behind all year.........not 9.

Whitworth has finished the year pretty strong.  I was wondering your guy's thoughts on them as we enter the tournament.

I like Whitworth.  I've liked them all year.  We'll see how they do with all the travel, but I expect them to come out of the first weekend without much problem.

I've been down on Oxy.  I don't understand where all the love is coming from for them.  I think it's Whitworth with ease this weekend.

".I've been down on Oxy.  I don't understand where all the love is coming from for them.  I think it's Whitworth with ease this weekend..."

Maybe because they are one of only two teams to beat the team (SUNY Plattsburgh) which has   the most wins in Division III this year (so far).  ???

Maybe the voters are making "OXYdental"  mistakes on their ballots  ;D

IF either Cal Lu or Chapman had been selected, the 'West Coast pod' would be at Oxy.  Whitworth is certainly coming on strong (and a win would not surprise me), but their 'full body of work' is not very impressive - I've got Oxy winning in my pick ems (but losing at UWW in the next round, so no biggie either way).

Cards, the heck with beating Plattsburgh - they beat my 'baby' Titans by 20! That's the source of their 'love'! ;D  [Quit being such a homer. :-*]

Damn, they only beat PLattsburgh by like 8 or 9.

Your Titans must really be bad  :D

I know you were referring to Whitworth, so sorry to split hairs, but this might be the 5th time total that Whitman has been mentioned in the men's message boards.  Whitman only won 1 conference game this year 1-15,

I've had Whitworth on my ballot for 2 maybe 3 weeks now............but then at one time I had Puget Sound in the top 10. :-\

My votes for the UAA teams is pretty screwed up, not even close to how they finished..............and Ursinas finally made my poll.

Thanks to the tie at 25, all 25 of my teams made it into the poll......first time this year.

Whitworth is playing very well and should beat the SCIAC team that comes up but then again that's why we play the games...Be fun to see WW play WW.  I would definitely go with WW.

Oops!  First time I've done that particular 'brain-fart' - I corrected the post to avoid confusing anyone.  Whitman definitely was NOT 'coming on strong'! :(

Yeah Whitman usually hits their peak/stride right about the middle of July during summer ball.

Whitman, the name makes me wonder...

Are they a great literary school or more of a yodeling cowboy institution   :D
