I think it's a kooky, nutty, wacky year all in all...A can beat B and then get blown out by C, while B beats C handily.

Ohio Wesleyan was in the mix for a "C", but then they lost to a blah Allegheny team not once, but twice (back to back, even) and both at home.

Wheaton beats North Central 77-66 behind Kent Raymonds 36 pts

Mine's in.

One major correction.  I have had Centre underestimated for most of the season.  I have rectified their position.

Got my poll in for the week.

Mr. Ypsi

To my pleasant surprise, 4 ballots already in (and none of them from Ralph who nearly always votes first ;)).  Because of the distractions with selection, plotting pickems, etc., I probably won't try to 'publish' before Wednesday - let's set a new record for number of voters!

What happened to our poll?  I thought we were on pace to get it done early.

Mr. Ypsi

Some ballots came in earlier than usual, but some voters are occupied with selection and pickems - we've currently got seven, but I'm hoping for nine or ten.

I'll probably put it out tomorrow evening.

Mr. Ypsi

We're currently stuck on eight ballots - any more likely?  sac?  PS?  SLP-0-8?  anyone?

Either way, I'll post this evening (unless someone intends to vote and needs more time).

After a couple week absense for various reasons, I've submitted my ballot.

Its a bit harder when you've taken some time away, but some of the reasons you might have been holding back or progressing a team disapear.  Look forward to seeing the final results.

I have to wonder how the tournament will blow up the top 7, since only 1 of those teams will make it to Salem.

For a second there I thought I had nailed all 25 for the first time ever.  However, I had Augustana in rather than CMU.

I think it might be the opposite.  There are much fewer chances for those top 7 to lose to a bad team.

I'm guessing that if no one in positions 8-11 wins the whole thing, the top seven may remain pretty well intact.
