Is Birmingham-Southern eligible for the poll yet?

I don't think they are eligible for post-season play until next year, but I have no rule
against voting for them in the poll.

They're not Top 25 material yet, but I was just curious with the gaudy record and all.

I'm preparing my ballot as we speak.  I spent a while last night going through every conference and team to make a (very long) short list.

My top four are basically a toss up, but I won't wimp out and give a fourth of a vote to each.  I'll make a decision.

As for Williams.  I'd like to keep them higher due to the injury, however, since I can't be bothered researching injuries across the country, I've decided to make my ballot about the current make-up of the team.  This will also explain Williams' jump when Whittington returns to play and presumably back to form.

Ypsi's right.

Home 1 point win over Ozarks to open the season -- Fair
Rust -- Okay
LaGrange -- Down this season
UNO -- Good win (Maybe equivalent of a D-III Top 80-- Top quintile)
DePauw -- Nice win
at Centre -- 45-62   :)  Expected
Huntingdon, Sewanee, Oglethorpe and Rhodes -- expected.

Probably finishes at 21-4.  Fortunately they catch Colorado College, Austin College, Southwestern and Trinity, the strength of the SCAC-West, at home!

My poll is in.  I like the top 12 - after that, I feel like there should be 5-7 blank spaces before the rest come in.

I felt self-conscious about including Ithaca - I ended up dropping them two spots.  I need to stick to my guns.

Mr. Ypsi

5 ballots in and tallied (and so far the only one who obviously simply forgot a team was me! :P) - hopefully we can double (at least!) that number in the next 24 hours.

[I never got around to PMing past voters who had not already chimed in about their participation, but will certainly do so this week if we don't reach at least 11 or 12 ballots.]

Your ballot DOES matter - currently first and third are separated by 3 points!  Despite the anguished cries about problems at the bottom of the ballot (which I can VERY much identify with!), so far 19 teams have been named on all five ballots (and three more on four) - more consensus than I really expected at this stage of the season.

I hope to get mine in tonight.

We're up to 9 ballots with barely over an hour 'til the desired deadline.  Any more in the pipeline?  (As always, I prefer more ballots to arbitrary deadlines, so will hold off 'publishing' if anyone needs more time.)

Mine will be delivered to you in a matter of minutes. sorry for the delay.

Mr. Ypsi

I'm gonna make one final appeal - otherwise I'll post 10-ish.  We're up to ten; an attempt to shame PS into being #11 is on the Top 25 board. :D

While #1 is now pretty well set, #2, 3, and 4 are separated by ONE point!!  YOUR ballot WILL make a difference if you send it soon (or request a further extension)!
