Well thanks a lot, now my post looks cryptic and worthless...

... and how is that different than any other post of mine you ask?   Touche.

Aw - no fair setting yourself up like that.  You know you can't give yourself an assist   ::)

Now I've never understood that rule.

If you're so freakin' fast that you can give yourself an alley-oop, why the heck shouldn't you get both the bucket AND the assist?! ;D

I was more stealing your chances to burn me than I was setting myself up.  I was posting the first line regardless; I just wanted to let you all know that I knew what I was doing.

Howard Payne runs into history.  HPU has not defeated McMurry in Abilene in about a decade, and tonight was no different.

HPU is only about 5 deep (only 10 pts from the bench vs 51 for McMurry).  So one can out-score HPU in an uptempo game.  The Yellow Jackets do best with the half-court game.

McM 116 HPU 97.  This snaps the 13-game winning streak.

I am about ready to throw my hands up!

From my ballot last week, #3, #4, #7, #10, #12, #14, #15, #16, #17, #23 and #24 have lost and we still have 3 more games to go!

:-\ :-[ :P ??? :o

Expand the horizons! That's why I rate 'em all - I have ample backups!

Or just put all the teams in a hat - and so what if you draw out Elms as #1!

:D :D :D :D :D

Okay,  Elms,  #1!

I have a statistical probability that I am statistically correct at some "p" value!    :D :D  :D  ;D  8)

And it is probably greater than my probabliity to guess which CCIW, MIAA and WIAC teams will win next week! :)

You draw Elms as #1, I disallow your ballot! ;) ;D

But we are going to check into our personal 'watch-lists' this week - even crazier than last week!

I always had respect for Pat's voters, but am gaining even greater respect!  If you take this top 25 stuff seriously, it ain't easy!!

Ralph Turner

But Professor Ypsi, the "p" value of Elms being #1 is .000001. ;D

At least I calculated it correctly! ;) :D

Mr. Ypsi

Ralph, I don't know how you could actually calculate the 'p' value, but I'll take your word for it.  ;)

But I do know the 'a' value (as in 'accept' the ballot) of a first place vote for Daniel Webster, Cal Tech, or UMPI is zero! ;D

Going to be an interesting week: WPI losing twice - probably gone.  Augustana losing twice, probably still in the top ten.  It's all in the context!  Tons of upsets; I'll be starting from scratch again!
