Yeah.  Just scroll back a ways on the board.  I went through my reservations.  Basically, I'm trying not to vote them up just because of their reputation.  They're schedule this year is much weaker than it has been the past few and I'm not yet convinced of their top status.  I suspect they'll finish around 20 on my poll.  That seems to be where they fit best.  I dropped them a little more than I would have liked, but the way my poll worked out, some of the bottom teams deserved to rise a little.  I think it will normalize by tournament time, although I doubt they'll get higher than 18 or so on my poll.  I'm just not sold.  They'll have to prove themselves to me in the NCAAs.

Thanks for your response, I scrolled back as well to read through it. Although I think Hope is better than #24 in the country myself I understand your reservations and can't argue with your decision and logic.  I think one thing that can make Hope a threat come tourney time is that the NCAA can be dominated by guards and Hope has a great group of guards who shoot the ball well, distribute, and play defense (usually). That said if there shots are off Hope does not have the inside presence to make up for a bad night from the outside.

No doubt!  I'm trying some new teams this week since previous teams I've been hanging onto have finally annoyed me enough by losing enough to drop off my list.

OAC = most infuriating conference  :P

I had this odd occurrence that from #6 through #12 all but one of the teams on my list lost.  so I didn't change a whole lot.

Mr. Ypsi

We've been stuck on 7 ballots for some time now - Hoaf?  GS?  PS?  (FDF, you're still invited if you're able.)

Only one completely new team this week so far, but several that have gotten only slight support before.  Some VERY close races, so additional voters CAN make a difference!

The earliest I could get mine is is 8:00 Central... Sorry I'm always the late one...!

That'll work.  I was going to assure you that you're not always 'the late one', but then I checked and saw you are ALMOST always the last!  (If it's a comfort, think about "saving the best..." ;D)

I just appreciate that you are reliable and consistent.  Waiting for your ballot is worth it.  :)

And I'm in.  It remarkably didn't change a whole lot from last week... at least in the top 20.

Sorry for muddling things up again Ypsi...  You were right, the contiguous 25 was the real 25, the others were just notes... actually, just picks from last week.

Actually, one other voter had Grinnell a slot higher than you earlier - and I ALMOST got them in (somewhere between 26th and 28th).

I'm disappointed with only eight ballots, but I guess I'll start entering it now.  Unless I'm interrupted (likely!) or another ballot or two comes in (I hope!), results should be up before eleven.
