Because of all the losses this week, I scrapped my list and went back to the drawing board.  I went through every conference, as I did the first week, to determine which school might be in consideration, then ranked them from top to bottom.  I didn't let the previous rankings interfere with my decision making.

In all, I ranked 51 schools.  The biggest surprise was how far Brandeis dropped.  for a team I once had at #1, they are now #20 on my list.  They went from "a great team that beat Amherst" to "a team who, outside of Amherst" didn't beat anyone they weren't supposed to beat and lost a few more."

The only anomaly I'm finding is that 16 of my top 28 are from just four conferences.  I'm sure that will work itself out as the conference seasons progress.

I am waiting until I get a score in the Roanoke-Lynchburg game to submit.  That may change my order near the bottom.

Isn't this why we have a "poster's poll?"

Fear not, both of them already do.  (So I will be the only person to know whether their public disclosures march their secret ballot! ;D)

Just a teaser then:

Already have six ballots in (I believe that is a record for Sunday evening!), and 3 different teams have gotten votes for first, and 4 teams have second place votes - I'm just not gonna say who they are! ;)

That doesn't surprise me with all the losses this weekend...but like I have said before that's what makes conference play so great!

Marty, I've taken the liberty of scoring your post as an 'official' ballot - welcome to PP as our first UAA rep! :)

We're now up to 8 ballots - let's go for the record (12 on several occasions).

This has been the most intriguing week ever to be compiling the ballots - with every new submission, the line-up changes a bit!  Right now, with 9 ballots, we have a tie for first and a tie for third (and numerous other spots too close to call)!

Later voters, unlike the usual primary season (though maybe not this year!), your votes WILL make a difference! ;)
