I'm predicting at least three orphans for me this week and perhaps double digit outliers.

With 7 ballots in, you're sitting currently with 3 orphans (and one more picked by only 1 other), though I suspect you'll end with only one orphan.  Other than orphans (who knows whether they are double-digit outliers?!), you have no outliers in double-digits (though your #15 team is so far an orphan, so that would definitely be double-digits if no one else names them).

I meant not how far an outlier, but how many teams for which my vote is singularly high or low.

Ah, got it.  You may be right - a quick scan shows FIFTEEN outliers after 8 ballots (though several by only a slot or two, so that will probably go down a bit).  Your nickname appears safe! ;D

You are down to only two orphans, however.  Ballot #8 had your #15, and I strongly suspect someone will soon name your #23 (I had 'em about 27 or 28).  My hunch is that your #24 is to remain an orphan. ;)

Wait, you mean the #25 isn't an orphan?  I knew I should have gone with SUNYIT.

SUNYIT might lose to UDallas in the NEAC Semis on Saturday.

Submitted my poll for this week.

Barely two hours to go, and still only NINE ballots!  C'mon you other six voters! :(

Mr. Ypsi

Hey, nagging DOES work! ;D  Within 15 minutes I received a 'sorry, can't this week', a ballot, and a promise of a ballot!  That leaves 3 voters unknown.

Mr. Ypsi

We now have 12 ballots (and one voter known to be out this week); that leaves two unknown.  Any more ballots coming?

Mr. Ypsi

The voter 'known to be out' has come through with our record-tying 13th ballot after all!  Perhaps his heroic sacrifice (though he asked not to be named as his boss might not see it that way! ;)) will inspire frodotwo or Point Special to submit the record breaker! :D

Mr. Ypsi

Well, no word either way so far - I'll give 15 more minutes before beginning to type the results.  A new all-time record sure would be nice! ;)

I'll put forth a final ballot, but work's just way too hectic right now for me to do anything else.
